In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit...

A single sentence beginning one of Middle-earth's greatest tales of dragons, magic rings, and wars. There is not a child in the world unknowing of the adventures of hobbits, wizards, dwarves and elves. 204 years have passed since the destruction of Sauron and his rings, a time of -questionable- peace. Dwarves continue to gain riches, elves remain prosperous and proud. Humans have earned more power and recognition, and hobbits? Hobbits have still continued to be merry and full of cheer. There had arguably never been a more prosperous time in the history of Middle-earth.

The shaking of buildings was the first sign of disaster in the small town of Frostrun. A loud beating sound filled the air, snow previously settled on the ground whirled bac into the air, whipping past the streets in a frenzy. From what appeared to be a sudden snowstorm emerged a large, skeletal head. Rot clung to the dirtied white bone, muscle clinging to decayed wings. A dragon let out a screeching roar, looking and sounding like something straight from nightmarish tales.

From out of its mouth sprung a fire, colder than the mountain winds. It burned the small town to the ground, there was no sound of screams. The town of Frostrun died without even making a disturbance. The undead dragon prowled near the ruins for a some few days, before vanishing in the snow covered valleys.

Ten months later, a party is being held at the Shire. A celebration of the brave fellowship that brought Middle-earth into brighter days. It is to be a grand event of which all races are invited to, and you have decided to attend.

Rules
1. Follow all PH rules
2. Follow all the basic rp rules (no God-modding, bunting, etc.)
3. This is a semi-lit rp. As with most of my rpg's I ask for at least 3-5 sentences with good grammar. Exceptions can be made but I would hope not often.
4. While I won't place any direct limits on anything, please try to keep the adventuring party varied. We can't have a party consisting entirely of elves or hobbits.
5. Tell me if you prefer the Hobbit or LOTR for the password.
6. The form is simply a guideline. You don't have to follow it, but what's on there is what I need to see. If you make your own form make sure everything on the one given is on there.
7. The rp will be taking on a cinematic approach, as in mostly following one or two storylines with various small sidequests littered in between. You may be asked if you want to play a larger role in pushing a certain plot foward, or you can suggest one yourself.
8. If at anytime you start to feel frustrated with the rp, let me know! I want this to be enjoyable for everyone, and I will do what I can to fix it!
9. Nothing meta, please. Any information not expressly stated in character should not be known by an outside character. This includes any personality trait, backstory, or plot point not yet revealed in rp. If you have any doubts concerning whether or not it is safe to mention, simply ask.

Legirion @Koiboi

My character
Show hidden content
Name: Legirion
Legir (Name of father) -ion (Son of)
Age: 62
Gender: Male
Race: Half-orc, half-elf
Hometown: Rivendale, Frostrun, Shire
Appearance: Legirion more visibly took after his mother's elvish heritage, though orc features are still present, most notably in his sharper teeth, his ears which are pulled back in a more bird-like fashion, and a more pale sallow skin tone. His frame is also more bulky than an elf's. He stands at around 5' 9" and can often be found wearing a faded blue bandanna over his nose and mouth, as well as a dark jacket over a white shirt and sienna brown pants rolled up to reach the middle of his calf, with dusty boots covering what might have shown. His hair is a wavy dark brown, swept back and cut an inch above his shoulders. His eyes are a rather dulled shade of green, with a discolored burn scar travelling from the left side of his face down his back.
Personality: Legirion is very stubborn and hardy, taking little to no nonsense. He is rather insecure about himself but does his best to not show it. He can harbor a grudge for a long time and often gives the silent treatment to those he feels has wronged him. Legirion poses himself as a full elf to stay within a twisted sort of comfort. He considers himself an expert on creatures from his time on the road.
Backstory: With the elves being a rather prideful race, it is well assumed they did not take Legirion's parentage well at all. Orcs were the cause of much trouble both back and at the time, and it was near inconceivable that any elf could ever love one. Born of Beleth and Legir, Legirion spent most of his days sitting under the shade of a tree, listening to the water run. His father died while he was still young, leaving him in the care of his mother. The half-orc boy often found himself at the scrutiny of those living in Rivendale, many ignoring his elven heritage and criticizing his every word and movement. The elves used Legirion as a scapegoat regularly until enough blame and been placed on him to reasonable have him exiled from Rivendale, a result he can't say was entirely unexpected. He truly did not mind much, and he packed up his belongings and left, soon settling down in the town of Frostrun, though it did not last long. Legirion considers himself lucky to have escaped the dragon attack, though the scars of the dragon fire still pain him to this day. After surviving the undead dragon's wrath, the half-elf wearily traveled, finding himself in the Shire among hobbits. He was swiftly treated for the worst of his wounds, and quickly Legirion decided to stay with the kind, smaller folk.
Weapon of Choice: Greataxe
Other: backstory may change a bit, mostly smaller details.
Palpad: Yep
Password: The Hobbit

So I also technically haven't finished LOTR, but like. I can assume how it ends, and if any of this rp ends up not being possible because of my lack of knowledge... heck it. I don't care man, my rp, my story. If I feel the need to being back Sauron for any reason I will hecking do it just watch me! (He won't come back as far as I have planned I swear, I mean, unless you want him to...)

Name of the rp may change cuz I don't like it but can't think of anything better.
