There are two kingdoms- The Kingdom of the Raven and the Kingdom of the Swan. The two of them exist in perfect harmony, side by side, allies in war, friends in peace. When one kingdom falls on hard times, they simply have to call on the other. But, peace cannot last forever. An artifact was stolen, and a powerful one at that. The Crown of Cothysmos. This belonged to the dragons, who, in their rage, came and attacked the two kingdoms. The Ravens believed that the Swans had brought this upon them, while the Swans believed it was the Ravens. While the dragons raged, they turned on themselves, bringing utter chaos. There are a few, however, who believe otherwise, and they are determined to find out who in fact, stole the Crown, led by a former Swan soldier by the name of Kayleen.

Each of you is going about your day. Perhaps you're a citizen, trying to ignore the chaos of the world, wishing that the battiling would end and the dragons would dissapear. Maybe you're a soldier, reluctant to return to another day of battiling against the people that you have seen many times, perhaps even grown to know in the ventures into the oppisite kingdoms before all of this needless fighting. One thing that you all have in common is that you want the war to end. You want the chaos to stop and things to go back to as they were before. But perhaps, just perhaps, something will happen. As your day starts, there is a sense of new beggenings. Bleakened, perhaps, by the hopelessness in the air, but still present. Who knows?

Kayleen stood in front of her makeshift home in the Borderlands, stretching her arms as she looked at the rising sun. Evrey morning, habits from her time as general, she would run across the scraggy rocks on the Blue Mountain. It was one of the few things keeping her from going mad. She glanced at her armor, newly polished, leaning against the doorway. She missed the days she could don it proudly. Now all that it brought was memories of rejection and needless fighting. Kayleen shook her head. She couldn't start getting sentimental. Right now was a time to clear her head. Taking a breath of the fresh morning air, she started off, arms pumping.

Margo's eyes shot open as her heard caught the faint sound of pounding feet. probably just my heart, she thought, frowning. She wriggled around to the top of the scraggly tree she had been sleeping in, and surveyed her landscape. what a beautiful morning. I just wish I could enjoy it. she sprang out of the tree and hit the ground. She checked her knives, and slung her short wooden bow over her back. She began at a walk, her feet not making a sound on the mothrim earth. Gradually, she worked up to a sprint, the back down to a walk. She had to reach her employer before noon, otherwise the pay would be lower. She had yet to know who her victim was, and The 17 year old girl was eager to get it over with.

Shiro started to walk out of a Library in the city of Mothrim. He saw a pretty girl run past him. He didn't know many people in town. Everyone tends to mind their own buisness. " Hello... Goodbye..." He said as she ran past him. He started to walk the other way. Which was the wrong way towards his home so, he turned around and started to walk about ten feet behind the girl. ' I'm tired.' He thought.

Peregrine leaned back in her wooden chair, a mug of tea clasped in her hands. She was sitting around the table, having just eaten breakfast with her parents and younger brother, preparing to go out for the day. While she knew their kingdom was calling for soldiers to help fight the attacking draconic beasts, so far she and Karmen had remained uninvolved, hidden away in their family's secluded cabin. While Peregrine was twenty-one and her parents therefore kept pressuring her to move out, get married, make her own way in the world, her younger brother was only 17, resulting in the former being the one to primarily feed the family. She was quite happy to do so, however; the young woman enjoyed plying her skills, bringing down game, returning home with the meat and selling the hides. Setting the wooden cup down on the table, she stood, wrapped her hands in linen, grabbed her box, slung her quiver over her shoulder, and waved goodbye, setting out into the nearby forest.

The Raven soldier sat in her home, her set of throwing knives neatly placed on the table. She was sharpening and polishing them, in preparation to hunt later. She lived alone in a secluded cottage near the land of the Swans, and had a good friend there. She wore a set of cotton weaved clothing, much comfier than her armor. She hadn’t anything to do, so she watched idly as the time flew by.

Nuabel woke up in her tiny cottage with little to no worry as today the sun shined brightly into her tinted window. She got up from her covers and retreated to her even smaller bathroom, to which she got herself ready with a bit of blush, lipstick, brushed her hair thoroughly, tied it into a bun, and continued to her living room. Her kitchen, which was practically the living room, had only a small furnace to cook her meals with and. Nuabel grabbed a pan from her only shelf, and pour water, and place tea bags inside of said water. She smiled as it boiled and made herself a glass of tea afterward.

She smiled, as she wrapped herself in a jacket and walked outside onto her porch. Luckily, she lived right in the middle of the kingdom, so it wasn't lucked that she woke up to a bustling town with merchants and shopkeepers, running around and selling their product.

The second she stepped off of her porch is the second she was bombarded with offers from perfumes to herbs. Some were even good deals, like a cut diamond for half off ... Or maybe it wasn't that good of an offer. Nuabel, after a few seconds, shrugged off all the merchants and sighed under her breath. She had known that the dragon was making all the citizens panic and worry, and she wishes it could stop too. Yesterday, at her cartographer's office, she had about five more people wanting a map of the entire land, not just a map of the two kingdoms. Most of them said on their fear of the dragon and chaos just isn't for them.

She kept her walk down the stone path of the streets, bustling and loud, Nuabel stepped forward to her offices.

As Margo walked, she noticed someone trailing her about ten feet back. She pretended not to notice though, and turned into random crowds of people in the streets. Finally, she made up her mind. With deliberate motions, assuring her follower noticed, she slipped into a nearby alleyway. She immediately drew her daggers, and pressed up against the wall. She waited and listened, although it was heard to pick out one set of approaching footsteps among thousands.

Each of them, wether they be Swan or Raven, young or old, would see something unusual. A tiny ball of light, floating torwads them. It was a pixie, a rare sight to see indeed. Many had never seen them before, others had and belived them extinct. Still, each was aproached, rather secretly, by a Pixie, darting behind them in large crowds, or away from the view of others. Before they could speak or react, the pixie would hand each of them a message, a tiny scroll just the size of one's hand, before vanishing without a trace.

Kayleen herself had stopped for a rest on her run, sitting down on a rock. She looked up, thinking that the running was getting to her and she was seeing things, but the scroll was placed in her hand, before the pixie dissapeared. She watched where it had vanished, before looking down at the scroll.

Margo heard a noise behind her, and quicker than a blink, the knife was out of her hand. It thunked into a barrell, and Margo's mouth dropped open at what she saw. A pixie, a pink pixie, was fluttering in front of her. It dropped something into Margo's still outstretched hand, then it was gone. Margo looked down, then jammed the scroll into her coat. In a series of jumps, Margo began the trek to her employer once more.

The woman stood frozen in shock for a moment. She'd entered the forest and immediately spotted a flash of light from the corner of her eye. Now, Peregrine stood there, gaping down at the smooth, somewhat small scroll in her hand, temporarily unable to move for her surprise. Pixies were supposed to be extinct, if they'd even ever existed at all. Karmen would never believe her story. She and the younger boy were quite close; he'd be turning 18 in a few moons, and she dreaded that day.

Their family was very traditional; while it was somewhat acceptable for a woman of her age to remain with her family after reaching adulthood, that was only the case if she had a logical reason. Hers was that her father was an injured veteran, unable to work a farm, and her mother very sickly, so therefore they couldn't look after her brother as effectively. Once he became an adult, however, he would be expected to marry, start his own household, and therefore Peregrine would be moving out, too. The chances of her ever marrying were very slim, what with her skin being the way it was, and therefore she would likely be living on her own. But that was neither here nor there, and no big deal, she told herself. Solitude was fine with her.

Carefully, she unrolled the scroll, her bright teal eyes flashing across it, scanning the writing. Surprise gave way to confusion, which in turn morphed into intrigue. What on Earth was this?

Nuabel looked around at the city, it was vibrant ... enough. Its main color is purple, so it was obvious that this kingdom is where the Ravens preside. As she looked around at the flags and banners of the blackbird, she heard a small chime. No, definitely more than just one chime, sorta as if millions of chimes comprised into one, and then, she felt a light tap on her back. She turned only to see a golden-colored ball of light. A Will-o-Wisp A pixie? A vengeful spirit? Nuabel eased closer to see that the light was a simple aura and a humanoid figure holding a piece of paper waved at her. The elder had never been more pleasantly surprised by anything in her life and she gladly took the scroll, waved the pixie goodbye, and opened it to see what exactly it was about.

After entering his home, Shiro saw a floating light enter his home through his kitchen window. ' What is that? It can't be a pixie... can it?' He thought. The pixie flew towards him and dropped something into his hand. He looked at the paper and then looked back up. When he looked back up the pixie was gone. He looked at the paper and unrolled it. He was just able to make out the words. " What does this mean?" he said aloud.

Since she preferred quiet areas and kept to herself, Kumi was reading a book at home. She didn't like to go out, unless it was necessary, such as shopping for food at a supermarket or a trip to a library or bookstore.

As she looked up, a small flash caught her eye, and she followed the light outside. When she had caught up, Kumi saw that it was a small pale purple pixie with shimmery wings. Then, the pixie vanished. Kumi looked down surprised, as she noticed that there was a slip of paper, rolled up like a scroll, neatly tucked into her front pocket.

Scarlett immediately flung her her knife at the disappearing pixie, a force of habit. She split the wood of her painting frame, and cursed. She picked up the knife, and slowly opened the scroll. “what on earth is this?” She wondered, while pulling out the splinters of wood. She sighed, planning to board up the hole later.

The scroll was small, but written upon it was an important message. Written in blood red were the words, "May this message find you in good health, whoever you are. You might doubt the honesty of this message, you might not. The important thing is that you read it. I am Nexus, King of the Dragons, and as I cast this final spell, I am dying. As dragons are one of the last magical species left, we are gifted with abilities. I myself can see into the future. I have seen that the Crown of Cothysmos will be stolen, and chaos will reign. I have created this spell, asking the pixies to deliver it when the time is right. Go to the Borderlands, and I wish you luck."

Kayleen opended the scroll, quite confused at its message. King Nexus was supposed to have died hundreds of years ago. How could he have written this? She stared at the scroll, thinking. It seemed like this message would come to sevreal people, and she needed to know who they were.

Margo read the note the employer gave her. It said, " name:Kaylee Gender: F home: borderlands age:unknown.
This woman was exiled a long time ago, and it is past time she 'encountered and accident.' this job will pay well, so be hasty." Margo shredded the paper in her hands, and then pulled out the scroll. After scanning it, she thought, well,I don't entirely believe it, but it's on my way! she giggled quietly, insanely, and hopped off the roof to the street bellow.

Once back at home, Kumi sat down and careful unfolded the note and read it.

After reading it, she sat back, thinking. According to a book she read, King Nexus of the Dragons had died long back before she was born. Things didn't quite add up, because if he did indeed had written the letter, then who would she meet when she did arrive upon the Borderlands? In any case, Kumi knew she must go there and check it out, even if it was a fake, or even a trap. Kumi started to prepare for the trip.

It was quite a ride of emotions for Nuabel, as she'd never known the king could write in Common, nor any language besides Draconic. It was, no, it wasn't? Was Nuabel really that important to be written to by the King of Dragons, Nexus? Wasn't it odd that she had to go to the Borderlands?

Nuabel brainstormed a bit, only sweeping out the most thoughts of hers. The only two that stayed if it were a trap from the Swans or an all-out fallacy of text. She nodded her head, turned around to her cottage, walked over there, and started her preparation for the journey.

Shiro was quite confused why a commoner like him was needed by the King of Dragons. He shrugged his shoulders and got his things together. Once he finished getting ready, He left his home and headed to the borderlands. He started to think as he was walking to the Borderlands. It was a weird day so far and it was probably gonna become even weirder.

Scarlett unfolded the note, “King Of Dragons....Nexus....help....borderlands” She was beyond confused.....what on earth was it? A prank? Maybe not. She decided to go check it out, anyways. Threats could be easily handled. She packed her moleskin water pouch, a small cooking pot, lentils, taro and millet. The rest could be hunted down, like meat, herbs, and berries. She got into her armor, quickly giving a hastily scribbled letter for the King/Queen to a guard, and set out, her throwing knives on her belt, and in several secret pockets, as well as her hair. She carried a spear/scythe like thing along with her, in her hand, should the need to Attack arise. Her amour was different, made of cow’s leather and steel and other comfortable pieces. This ensured flexibility, which was crucial for her.
