The necklace burned her hand, and melted into her palm, attacking itself like a tic. The netherite blob in the center shimmered like an enchanted book, clinking and clanking like an ancient engine

It retracted to her palm, and he gold completely melted, leaving the shining netherite heart on her palm. The heart shimmered brighter with her heartbeat, which seemed to be linked to the beating of the small rock. It felt like the strongest thing on earth

The netherite was too hot to grow brighter, as it was bright red, and Erebus hissed, before teleporting off, muttering something. That something was “an army. They won’t stand a chance”

The heart rippped itself out of her hand, and absorbed more heat “destroying souls” it said, as the phantom pet’s soul drained form its body, and it fell, the husk of a living being, frail and weak, as the heart turned to Ferno, glowing bright
