Whats a favorite game of yours that you feel is underrated?

I think AI: The Somnium Files is an absolutely AWESOME visual novel, but barely anybody knows about it!

New layout coming soon.

Sonic the hedgehog(2006)

Even though the game has a lot of glitches, that's what makes it really fun in my opinion. The game has such a bad history and with many people who don't even play the game themselves saying it's bad. But of course it is still my favorite underrated game. The controls are bad but who cares, the story is funny to me; with mephiles being the best sonic antagonist in all of sonic history. And I just absolutely love the cut-scenes, and the models for the game, besides the models for heroes 06 has the best design. As I said before; the game has a lot of glitches, but those glitches are pretty much used to make the game easier and are just generally fun to mess with. Also I feel like the game itself is really good for that time period, sure there were many better games out in that time, but sonic 06 introduced me to sonic so who cares about the other games. 😎

I can already feel the hate I'm gonna get from this comment lol.

adorable home, I don't think many people know this game, (this next part is kinda a spoiler) the game is beautiful and you get to decorate your house and get cats, the problem with this game is that it takes a long time to save up for something expensive.

Title: Hat in Time and Hollow Knight

Hollow Knight has gotten more popular, but I feel like it’s still super underrated. It’s also really hard

Hat in time, while on the Switch, is still incredibly underrated and it’s super fun

The Tales of Series by Bandi Namco. It's super popular over in Japan, but not so much in the west, meaning its kinda underrated. The stories for the games are always really interesting, and the characters in them are memorable and unique. Recently played Tales of Xillia on the PS3 which I haven't played in a very long time, and it was a good play! Even though I didn't remember much about the story, I still remembered the characters after so long, their character designs are so cool and actually inspired me to make some of my own OC's.

The most recent game in the series is Tales of Berseria. The most recent remake/remaster is Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition, which you could play on more consoles than XBOX/PS4/PS3, such as Nintendo Switch and Steam/PC. Tales of Vesperia is another really good game that I used to play the original of a lot, so I'm happy it got a remaster 2 years ago. They're gonna release a new game hopefully this year after their 2 year break!

Overall: The fighting style is different from most JRPG's. And there is many different features to try in every new game, for example, if you want one where you make choices like a visual novel, you'd like Tales of Xillia 2. If you want to solve puzzles and stun enemies without being in battle or using an item? You can play Tales of Vesperia with the Ring feature.

no more heroes. its probably the most well-known game from grasshopper manufacture, but its still pretty obscure compared to the rest of the wiis catalogue. its a fun hack n slash game with a deep story when you actually pick it apart. cant say the same for desperate struggle, and travis strikes again is mechanically different from the mainline entries in the series (and im also still playing through it, cant comment much on the story :P). no more heroes 3 got delayed to this year but MAN am i hyped for it.

i think this also counts as an underrated series but the professor layton series has been one of my favorites for several years now, and we havent gotten a new game since 2017 :')

got good friends who'd love to headline with a pretty pretty nine

Your Turn to Die is a fun, free-to-play uh... visual novel / puzzle game with a really interesting cast of characters. Its basically a death game. People often compare it to Danganronpa but honestly? Its way, way better than DR has ever been. The characters are much more fun to interact with and I really enjoy the way everything works. Its not finished yet but Chapter 3 is the last chapter of the game, so. Yeah. Play YTTD, everyone! (assuming you're okay with blood and character death)

OneShot is a cute little game following a cat-person who has to take the sun back to where it belongs. The player acts as their god and its a really fun game that also hurt my heart way more than it had the right to.

...Hollow Knight is pretty much one of the most popular indie games by now however there are still far too many people who don't know about it. Its my favourite game of all time now because the world is just so beautiful and immersive. Its got lots of deep lore, incredibly well designed bug characters, and so much content for such a cheap game. Its incredibly worth a play.

They're not the most obscure but they're the most underrated games that I know of.

Psychonauts is my favourite game of all time, and to keep this short, I think practically everything about it is a reason I could list. The writing is great, whether it’s being serious or if it’s just one-liners while walking around a level, or both. The visuals are extremely creative and fun to look at (the character designs and how exagerrated they can all be have heavily influenced my art), and the gameplay is some of the best 3d platform stuff I’ve ever played.

If I could single out anything though it’d be the extreme level of detail present. Every ability in the game and most items cam be used on every character and they all have different, fully voiced reactions to all of them. This includes interactions that are inaccessible without cheating. One of my favourite examples of this is the Clairvoyance ability-each character has a different small drawing they see Raz as, and they all reflect their personalities in some way.

Plus it’s hilarious.

There was a game called Solatorobo that came out about 10 years ago for the DS and it had a really limited Western release but I LOVED it!! It's got lovely art and a really beautiful animated intro sequence! Oh and also furries.

Fantasy Life is such a good game on the 3ds. It is a jrpg, but has so much to do. You can craft your weapons, brew your own potions, and collect various materials using the classes, called "Lives". You can also have pets, and they and npcs can fight with you. In general there's a lot to do to 100% the game.

Friendly reminder: Go drink some water!

Ruiner for sure. Got a lot of flak but I'll absolutely die on the hill that it's one of the best action games of this generation.

Sunset Overdrive as well. It actually got some good reviews and became somewhat of a cult hit, but I still think it's too little compared to how great that game is. IMO, it's the best Insomniac game since the first R&C trilogy.

Smile For Me is super creative and interesting, with a really different character design and artstyle than you usually see in video games, interesting puzzles and overall just a great story. I just wish it was a bit longer.

Somebody else already mentioned OneShot but it bears repeating, it's a really good game that has the potential to be on the same popularity level as something like Omori or even Undertale, but not many people know about it.

Kindergarten (and it's sequel Kindergarten 2) is uh...a bit different than the others on the list. It's definitely for a more mature audience, with a dark sense of humour akin to that of Kill Bill. It's mostly dark comedy (sometimes really dark - again, Kill Bill comparisons can be made) but some aspects of it actually did make me emotional and it's definitely an amazing game, but definitely not right for everybody.

We start by using only CBD-rich hemp flowers in our organic sugarcane ethanol extraction process to obtain a 50% pure CBD extract, never including the stems and stalk. Rather than processing it any further, we keep every bit of naturally occurring full spectrum cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, fatty acids and other wholesome hemp goodness that gives this formula a natural amber color and a robust hemp flavor. That’s why we call it “Whole Plant.” https://cbdacbd.com

Simcompanies, it is a very educational but fun game and you can learn a lot about how the economy works in the real world. Might not be for everybody though, as it can take months if not over a year to see results.
