Erin nodded "its better to trust him than have us all go off on our own ways. Sure, maybe there is a chance he may do something bad, but I have a good feeling from this guy. What about you Lloyd, you've been awfully silent?"
Lloyd was in a daydream but suddenly snapped out after hearing his name being called "Oh right. Well... I guess I can trust him for now. But if he does anything that is considered a betrayal I call dibs on beating him up." He said as he cracks his knuckles.
"Ok, but I don't think he looks like the type of guy who would do that to be honest." Rex said kinda scared about what Lloyd said.

“Mm-huh?” He snapped awake within moments, though Emerald remained fast asleep in his arms. “R-right, let’s hop onto it and find somewhere else to go...as long as it’s out of the forest...” He used one paw to wipe his eyes as he slowly stood up.

After they left the forest, Erin and Lloyd looked around. Rex was sitting down out of breath.

"I wonder where things will go now that we exited the forest at last!" Erin said looking around the place. "I bet there is some sort of city with a weapon shop so I can get an upgrade and be useful in battle for once! Same with Lloyd over here!"

"I-im not that useless!" Lloyd replied a bit angry.
