Cryo arrived at the park and glanced down at his phone. He'd been
assigned to remain here for the next few hours. He found it odd
that he'd been asked to return here past curfew; usually, Governor
X kept the assignments efficient. However, he knew that it wasn't
up to him to question the governor, regardless of how much he
wanted to. He was glad the park was large, as others had also been
assigned here and he really wasn't in the mood for socializing.
Aloof and indifferent... good thing it was an easy day.
Sitting down on a bench in the park, Tundra leaned back, crossed
her arms, and stared up at the sky. She felt the familiar pang of
regret that she hadn't been lucky enough to be born with a
mutation; some people, she knew, had the ability to fly. What she
wouldn't give to be free... she immediately flinched from herself
and returned her gaze to the ground. She half wondered if she
should turn herself in for unbalancing the scale. Such thoughts
were dangerous, and she was ashamed to have had one.
Eden goes to the kitchen to find something to eat as he was
thinking about the message "Go to the park at midnight". "It's just
too dangerous!". Eden shouted as he thought, "Maybe I shouldn't go?
That would be smart. But, that's not an option for me". He sat
down. "It's not that I am gonna die or anything right? So I should
go and chill there. Maybe there will be cool things happening at
midnight". Eden let a sigh of relief and he started making some
toast and egg for breakfast
Emersyn walked towards the door,Heading home to get prepared for
her Assignment,She though in wonder "Why are we going to the park
at midnight" The thought kept coming to her but she didn't have any
answers,She decided to move ahead and get ready.
Bronx stretched his arms. "Sort of. I have a mutation known as
Bird's Eye Veiw. I can zoom my vision to see things far away
perfectly clear, though it's easier from the sky."
The three of them looked up at once. "Yeah, we are," two of them
said in unison. They looked very simalar, almost identical. The
third was a tallish guy with shock blonde hair.
Aine and Eleand nodded in unison, then marched off in the exact
same time, matching step for step, blink for blink, arm movement
for arm movement. It was almost unsettiling how simalar they were.
Zaiven hurried after them, quickly pulling up to match their pace.
The three of them headed down into Tech, though there was still Joe
to look for.
Tazu looked at Aine and Eleand for a second, slightly unsettled at
how.... synchronized their movements were to each other. Ignoring
that for now, she went and checked the med bay to see if anyone was
in there.
Joe had his back turned to the door, and seemed to be rather busy
with something, He was a broad shouldered man, with a sleevless
shirt revealing the strange tatoos going up and down his arms that
seemed to be something, though unclear what. His head was
completley shaved on the sides, with a small ponytail. He lifted a
large box onto a shelf, oblivious of Tazu.
Joe sighed. "Fine." He put the box down and started walking through
the doorway, brushing her aside. "Dooley, right? She always seems
to be leading these things." Without waiting for a response, he
headed in that direction.
