They envy how the Gifted are blessed with power, whilst they watch from the sidelines, only being able to envy the power they hold. They hate them, because to them it isn't fair how they were blessed, whilst they were forgotten. So, they scorn them, because that's the only thing they can do.
But, there are some other humans. Humans that are fascinated, with the Gifted and the Gifts they have. So, they experiment on them, because to them, the Gifted are nothing but, a test subject to be taken apart and toyed with.
But, with a new age, comes new times, and a new age rose for the Gifted's. The Government put up rules, stating that no one was allowed to cause any sort of harm to Gifted's. Doing so, would result in severe punishment. This resulted in many protests, but soon people came to terms with it. But, there are still some people who pay no heed to these rules, and instead continue to experiment and discriminate the Gifted's.
After lots of protests from the Gifted's along with some kindhearted humans, the government began to take action and forced the public to stop the discrimination and experiments on Gifted's. And, so the discrimination lessened and the Gifted's were happy.
But, as the saying goes, Happiness never lasts.
Many Gifted's began to disappear mysteriously, with no trace left behind. There were efforts made to find them, but they proved futile. Who could be behind this? Could this be a plan made by some humans, or is there a bigger picture behind this?

ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Josephine is an extremely meek, paranoid and fragile individual who suffers from hazardously low self-esteem as a result of severe bullying. She's easily intimidated and constantly worries about boring & offending others. However, when it comes to medical affairs, she acts a lot more confident & bold, as it seems to be a field she's very knowledgeable in. She generally wants to be liked by and help other people, but her utter lack of confidence and wish to not be a bother causes her to rarely assert herself or state her feelings openly; if she feels the need, she will more than likely ask for permission from her peers to do so.
ʙᴀᴄᴋsᴛᴏʀʏ: Josephine's parents were often absent in her life, and a lot of times, she'd end up unsupervised for days on end. Because of her meek personality, she was often picked on at school. Said bullies would often throw mud at her, draw on her, use her as a target for dart games, and beat her up. Because there was no one to take care of her wounds, Josephine learned to take care, of herself from a very young age. As she became more and more skilled in this area, she took an interest in nursing, realizing that she could have a feeling of control over sick and injured people ー as the weaker people, they would have to depend on her completely and their lives would be in her hands.
She began to enter the medical field, despite being one of the best in her classes. She was outshone by those gifted with healing abilities. Because of this, she holds an unspoken hatred towards those who are gifted.

ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ:- She hates failing and never accepts it, being the cause of the obsession with her power. If she is ever in a spot where there isn’t a way she can succeed, she’ll let it happen but get stuck on the incident for a few days, slightly depressed about it even. As an assassin she knows she can’t fail, but when she does it leads to punishment. She’s grown to be cold and void of regret and emotion, making her hard to blend in with society. She’s fine with that though, as she prefers to be hidden and locked away anyways.
ʙᴀᴄᴋsᴛᴏʀʏ:- She never really had a family, and she assumed it was because she was a gifted. She was raised in an orphanage where none knew of her power due to it only affecting her. She hated being with all the kids and adults there, so she ran away at around 13. While on the run she was caught by an older assassin who was looking for gifted people like her. They took her in and began to train her and torture her. On her first victim she performed quite well, drawing attention to her among the others. She started to become their favorite, leading them to send her on more missions than others. That all ended when on one her missions, she never came back.

If energy runs out while she is transformed, she also loses her human mind. She still remembers things, but has no logical or rationalcontroll over her body.
ᴀᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ:-left eye is magenta, rright eye is normal with blue iris that changes color to give away her emotions. has scar across her left eye.
ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ:-Shy, hot temper sometimes, can hold her ground in a fight. She is scared to love, in case she does like her parents and leaves them. She loves all animals, and all animals love her. Except for the following: huskies, Pomeranian, tuxedo cats, robins, rats, goldfish, and great whites.
ʙᴀᴄᴋsᴛᴏʀʏ:-(ᴏᴘᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ) was abandoned when she was five, lived on the streets since. She does NOT like people, and if you startle her she runs or fights. She has an obsession with knives, and always has one on hand. She is known to stab/injure people with it when sneaked up on/ startled, so be careful. More in the RP.
ᴏᴛʜᴇʀ:- has 0 friends, is bad a making them, but when she does she is loyal to the end. Fave flower is magnolia and cranes bud, might have one tucked in her hair at points.
