"Oh?" was all that she said. Demonic attitude on an angel? Knowing
names before they were said? In all her travels, Xatina had never
met an odder group of creatures. Oh well, at least now she knew
that this school wasn't going to be as boring as she thought.
Though she hoped to be down with it soon, she was already getting
tired of the long climb, these weren't hiking boots after all. "If
you're so smart, then what's my name?" She challenged the stranger.
Xatina was a master of trickery and deception, so if he was pulling
some kind of mind-reading trick, she would immeadiently know.
Xatina was also curious about the nature of the others. One had
mentioned a portal? A fairly common power among demons, but
interesting nonetheless. Xatina didn't care about making friends,
but she did care about getting answers.
"Oh, ok cool. Yeah speaking of love, the necklace is for my
girlfriend Ellie, but I'm.... uh... not really the rich kind so I
could never give it to her before. It would mean a lot to me if I
could give it to her?"
Jesse looked at "Xanita". "Excuse me ma'am, is there a
problem?"
Jesse had the ability to tell intentions an to speak with animals,
and this one had a powerful aura coming off of her. She was not to
be messed with. Unless you really knew what you were doing. She
seemed to think she was better than Ozul, which for some reason
offended Jesse. He knew a good friend when he saw one, and this was
one to be trusted.
Xatina was surprised. "That was rather quick of you." She heard
someone talking to her and whipped her head around to glare at
Jesse. "What? No, of course not. I was just curious to see how his
power worked." She smirked. "I don't see why you should have any
problem with that." Xatina thought at first that this school was
going to be interesting in some way, but it appeared that she was
mistaken. The other students seemed dull. Their powers interesting,
yes, but not their personalities. The minute that Xatina got a hold
of a test subject and was inside the building, she was definitely
planning on livening things up a bit. She couldn't stand having
boring roadblocks. Made clearing them away such a drudge.
Jesse inwardly chuckled, this one had a very friendly look about
them and wouldn't be difficult to beat.
"Well excuse me," Jesse said to Xanita. "I personally don't think
I'm boring at all and I really am quite lively. But by the looks of
your face, you need a lot more help than I do"
Jesse laughed again as he realized he was taller than this girl and
she seemed like she was on top of the world. The irony.
"Hey, Xatina! Who are you calling dull? I don't just open portals;
I so far have found out that I can also use what I call
Chronokinesis (manipulation of time), telekinesis, and blending
into the shadows." Magnus thinks to himself "...mumble... no one
calls me dull"
"Hi doggy! Who's a good dog, who's a good dog!"
As Jesse turned to Ozul, he couldn't help but laugh at the serious
face. "What's the problem, come on, it's fun!"
Jesse started brushing all over the massive dog, and in return, the
dog gave an appreciative shake.
