Uhm, so i am trying to get the pure
strength badge, buuuut i am not sure if this is correct:
i got a level 1 chikorita and (Chiki) and i am leeling her up, but i got her from a trade, and she's almost level 10, so will i get that badge then?

The badge description says:
"Raise one of your Pokémon from Level 1 to 100. Watch as it grows and becomes stronger."
So that does sound like you have to level the pokemon up from hatching yourself, though I don't know for sure.
