Greetings, my sweetlings! Welcome to my own cozy little corner of Pokèheroes. Before we dive right into my projects and progress, I'll tell you a bit about myself. I'm always seeking out new friends with common interests, so if you're reading this and think we'd get along, don't hesitate to drop me a friend request or message!
You'll come to know me as Damsolette, the Good Witch... since I have a particular affinity for Fairy, Dragon, and Ghost type Pokèmon, I thought it fun to introduce myself as an equally whimsical and... somewhat... bizarre persona. Don't take this too seriously--it's all for fun 'round here!
Please, make yourself at home in my cottage and warm yourself by the cauldron. Let's swap some stories about your adventures over some tea.♡

This one here is my darling Tinsel!
I simply refuse to travel anywhere without her! She is my most trusted companion...
not to mention how friendly she is. I obtained her egg as a graduation present from the Gift of Xerneus Academy, and I took her unique coloring as an omen I was on the right path.
I've been fascinated by shiny Pokèmon ever since, and even though my eggs are incubated with care in my personal apothecary, there's no witchery involved in their hatching!~
Now, my sweet, if you happen to return to my cottage again in the future and take an interest in my current batch of shinies, let me know.~ The first hatched of every species I keep for myself... but all others I hatch after that are auctioned or sold.
Please do not post here. This is for my use and reference only.
I wanted to make this so I have a written record of my ongoing projects and something fun to look back on in the future. Feel free to browse (or not) at your leisure!

I gained my first Pokeheroes shiny yesterday after a radar chain of 38. I decided to start simple with a Magikarp I stayed up late evolving to Gyarados before I would willingly call it a night! I decided to name her "Vallette"--a WWII-era battleship. Although I had original intentions to hunt for more than one, the eggs were hatching faster than the daycare could provide them so I decided to call it quits early. I put a few Ponytas into the daycare and called it a night.
This morning, I did some aggressive farming in the berrygarden and officially started fishing. I've been told they can be a nice vein of income once you reach higher levels, so I've begun to take it more seriously. I purchased most of the upgrades for all three seed makers and now I'll be grinding the fields for the bulk of the day between browsing clicklists and swapping hatched eggs for new ones.
My next priority will be to start grinding for badges from set #3, but I see that taking quite a long time before I see much progress for that.
Lastly, my week of off-time is drawing to a close and I've got a number of large end of semester projects coming up I need to prioritize. Aside from the nine-page worksheet over the novel the class has just completed, I have to start working on a six-page paper due in two weeks. I've thankfully already completed the gruesome twelve-page one over the course of this week so my workload will be much lighter than expected. I'm hoping to stay ahead of the curve and finish out the semester with enough spare time to finish my goals here.

Admittedly, I did not get as much progress done here today as I originally intended. Much of my day was consumed by finishing up some homework so the rest of my week looks a bit more open. With that being said, between yesterday and today, I did some work on my profile to hopefully make things a little more easy on the eyes.
Berry farming and fishing have been going well, although I have yet to unlock the Super Rod. Hopefully between tonight and tomorrow I'll be able to make some progress there.
Day two of my Ponyta chain and still no luck on the shinies. I'm staying optimistic, though! In other news, I finally hatched that Regirock egg that's been incubating in my party so I can free up another slot for a Ponyta egg. I'll be working on some more grinding here tonight so hopefully tomorrow's update will be more significant and exciting than this one is shaping up to be.

I keep putting off updating this because something eventful always happens right after I do my daily update. Since my last post, I have hatched two shiny Ponytas--one that I've named Ichabod and intend to keep for myself, and the other will likely be sold or auctioned here in the upcoming days. I think I'm going to clear out the rest of the eggs in the daycare and start a new chain later today... I'm leaning toward either Mareep or Espurr.
As I mentioned previously, I intended to start taking berry gardening more seriously and try to grind some extra levels. Although I haven't made huge progress, my levels have been growing slowly but steadily. I upgraded the cooking pot the day before yesterday and although it's not a huge accomplishment to most, it is nice to feel like I am making actual progress.
As far as events in real life go, juggling work with time on Pokeheroes has been relatively easy so far, but since exam week is coming up that could all change. I've finished that grueling worksheet finally and intend to knock out my last big project before this week is over. Then, I should be able to pool the rest of my time and finish the final paper and two written exams next week.

This is a long-overdue update, but truthfully nothing interesting has happened. I've reached day three and a chain of over 100 on my current Mareep hunt and no luck just yet. I'm hoping it will follow the pattern and hatch me a shiny immediately after I submit this post, but either way I'll update this again when I've made some kind of significant progress.
I'm down to one large paper and two exams left for the rest of the semester, and then I'll be enjoying the much needed break!

It's been a minute since I've had a chance to update this! My exams are finished so hopefully I'll have more time between now and the holidays to get some more work knocked out here at a faster rate.
Aside from that, I am pleased to update with the information that I have finally succeeded in hatching a shiny Mareep. My original vision for the one I keep is for it to be a female, so eventually I'll likely auction or trade away the one I first hatched. I've also hatched two Mega able ones so far.

Nothing too exciting to update today, but a few housekeeping notes for the sake of it!
Today, I began my next shiny hunt--Taillow. My streak is already above 40, so hopefully I'll be seeing some quick progress with it in the next few days.
As always, I've been keeping up with fishing and berry gardening; Gardening has been a large source of my income lately and I'm hoping to rely on it more as I reach higher levels. Fishing is still pretty slow progress. I'm still searching for once last Shellder so I can upgrade my rod!
Lastly, between yesterday and today, I did some cleaning up on this thread and making it slightly easier to navigate. I'll have to update it a little more the next few days until it's at a place I'm happy with it.

I have had exceptional good fortune with shiny hunting this week. Yesterday I hatched a total of four shiny Taillows, and two others the previous day which brought that specific hunt to a close. In hopes of passing the good fortune along, I sold them relatively cheaply to others who I hope will get enjoyment out of them. I did, of course, keep one for myself that I decided to name Stratos.
I also managed to obtain a lovely shiny Pidgeot from the Auction House the other day. I named him Midas.
Coming off of my Taillow hunt, I decided to dive directly into Espurr... I didn't have to worry too hard about it, however, as I hatched my first shiny Espurr this morning after a chain of only 6. Exciting! This sweet girl I nicknamed 'Marvel' to remember my little stretch of good fortune.
Aside from shinies, I've also renewed Premium this morning to keep things moving at a good pace.

For some reason, this hunt has felt so much longer than all of my others. It's odd; There's been no shortage of daycare eggs or anything that's really set me back. This isn't even the longest chain I've done so far! I assume it's because of the overlapping holidays skewing my perception of time a little bit, but no matter the reasoning I was overjoyed to refresh my page to my first shiny Alolan Vulpix this morning!
I've named him Hoth.
