The idea is simple. I mostly don't recognize my friends in my friendlist after they change their username...
So how about an USERNAME CHANGED NOTIFICATION which will inform us in the notifications that this user in our friendlist have changed his username!
For example, how will it look like ->

The Notification will only come when the user in our friendlist have changed his username. :3

And also some users who really don't want to show their username change publicly, there should be an 'checkbox' in the Username Change of "Don't make a notification of username changed" which can be turned off by the user when they change their username, if they really don't want to show their new identity.

I would personally love this idea. If you don't mind me adding onto it, I'd love to see a username history in someones profile to help avoid confusion for missed feeds.

After last night's update, you can now see someone's former username on their profile. In my opinion, this is less flashy/annoying than receiving a notification about it. Plus, users can decide to hide it in their settings.
Would you agree that this suggestion is therefore sufficiently "implemented"?

Its your choice if you want to decide this as implemented.
And in my opinion, yes, this is implemented. Just the suggestion just went through a revolution, and from 'notification page', it went to 'profile page'. (maybe CatLady can help in editing the suggestion...😆😂)
Also, sometimes, we would don't check thousands of page to "show more" in notifications, and we sometimes we would have missed the notif.
So, yes, that is better and therefore this suggestion is implemented.

but you can also make poll, if you wanna see all users' choice...what they like...😂

And I am sure, you were influenced by @AlienSnowFlake's idea 😂

Well since you - the thread owner - say that it's better than the original suggestion, I will move it to "Implemented" then :) In case anyone wants an actual notification for this in the future, then please feel free to create a new thread.
