I'm pretty new here and I don't get the concept of breeding. I'm trying to breed with a female and male Rowlett. Could anyone tell me the chances of an egg? Is there anything to help you get an egg from breeding pair?

Breeding can be tricky sometimes. Sometimes you can get 20 eggs in a day, or sometimes you only get 5.

In the daycare, under your pair which does it say?

"The two seem to match perfectly."

Depending on which one it says, you'll get a higher chance of them producing an egg.

This is my breeding pair for my Gible hunt.

Having a different OT (original trainer) from yours will raise the probability of producing eggs. My Gabites are both from different OTs, but as long as both of yours aren't the same OT (ex: two Rowlets from Four would lessen the chances of getting eggs. Where as one from Four and one from yourself would give you more eggs.) you'll be alright. (I believe a "perfect" pair is from two different OTs entirely, but I'm not 100% on that >>)

Also, be sure that you have more than 100PD in the balance. Once it goes under 100PD, your pair won't produce any eggs (when it hits 50PD is when they stop).

I'm not sure of actual probabilities when breeding. Seeing as how you have two Rowlet's you'll get a Rowlet egg no matter what.

It's influenced by their PokéDex Number (if they match or not), by their Original Trainer (if 2 different OTs or not) and their Egg Groups. Black Flutes and White Flutes also increase the rate in which eggs are produced if the Daycare is under their effect. Emera Fountain can also influence breeding if you're lucky!

I didn't think of this until looking at your profile.

If you're shiny hunting Rowlet, it's better if you get a Pokeradar. It'll raise your chances of hatching a shiny to 1.25% at maximum chance (after hatching 40 of the same Pokemon in a row.) (2.5% if you're a premium member)

If you're just breeding Rowlet for the heck of it, then don't worry about the radar. It costs 150k PD, so it might be tough to get it so early.

Under the pair, it says "The two don't seem to like each other" but before it said, "The two seem to get along." maybe its because one of them evolved?

Evolving does alter the breeding chances. I believe a factor in breeding is if the two breeders have the same dex number (if it's the same then it's a higher chance) so if one evolves then the dex numbers no longer match.

Four covered most of it but you can also sometimes get a small breeding chance increase from the fountain in the town. 100pd into the fountain for a boost that lasts for as long as the current day. (Or get unlucky and get nothing, but 100pd is super cheap anyway)
