mentor role
Forum-Index → Suggestions → mentor roleI'm suggesting that in the user profile, beside your username there would be a tiny icon indicating your mentor level, it's not much and wouldn't impact gameplay, but it'd be nice.

What I think would be a good idea for the badges would be the rank badges from the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. Not only do these rank badges seem fitting, but those games are centered around helping others and rescuing them anyway.
Here's what I feel would be good to use:
So, with the current system, you need a total of 10k Mentor Reward Points to reach being a Level 6 Newbie Mentor.
Here's our Newbie Mentoring leveling chart for reference:
So, what I'm thinking is this:
50 Total Mentor Points - Normal
200 Total Mentor Points - Bronze
750 Total Mentor Points - Silver
2500 Total Mentor Points - Gold
4,250 Total Mentor Points - Diamond
6000 Total Mentor Points - Super
7,750 Total Mentor Points - Ultra
9,500 Total Mentor Points - Hyper
10000 Total Mentor Points - Master
This would make it so that you need a minimum of Mentor Level 2 to receive a badge. So you would have to at least put in a fair amount of time and effort into Newbie Mentoring to be given a badge.
The badges could look like this for example:
You would be able to hover over them and they will tell you the member's Newbie Mentor Level. I'm currently Level 5, but still not enough points to reach Diamond yet. When I reach enough points, then the badge could automatically change over to the Diamond one and rank up. I know level 5 would be a long stretch, but it makes sense to include multiple badges while leveling through Level 5 to Level 6.
I feel like these could be displayed in other places too. Forums and PMs could be a nice idea too.
There could also be an option to not display your Newbie Mentoring badge on the Newbie Mentoring page in case you aren't actively helping with Newbie Mentoring and are off duty. Badges could also not be displayed for users who have broken the rules recently and are exempt from participating in Newbie Mentoring and being a Newbie Mentor.
