Plot: Shinigami have been around since the time human existed, they always lived a double life between pretending to be a normal human before revealing themselves to kill, they were known as death gods but humans only really think of them as a myth until a few weeks ago when a Shinigami was found, the humans quickly discovered a weapon that can kill the Shinigami

The exorcists was sent into a mission to a small alleyway where it was reported of a Shinigami being sighted there and taking a soul by someone, which there was as they noticed one past by

Gale was the Shinigami in question here as he was on the rooftop of a building when he jumped from one to another when at some point jumped over the exorcist “damnit, guess they’re here too” he thought as he stopped a bit before looking back at them

In a certain apartment somewhere, an Otaku named Arashi lived never to come out of his room. He binged watch anime, played games and ate snacks all day long. He drew comic strips of his favourite fandoms and shipped them with others.

"NOOOOoooOOOO! Mika!! You're not supposed to die now, you're supposed to marry Yuu and live happily ever after!!" He cried out and became depressed for the following day.

Kori was in the woods, crouched low on the ground behind a bush. She was hunting down a deer that was grazing at the grass. She took an arrow and pulled her bow back. She aimed and-
"Woof!" her wolf barked scaring the deer and made it run away. She let go in a nick of time to get an arrow through its chest. She looked down at her wolf.
"I told you not to scare the prey," she sighed as she pets his head. "What is it?" she asked. The wolf had a scroll in its mouth. She unrolled it and scanned through it. "Another Shinigami? You've gotta be kidding me," she said as she took her weapons. She followed the wolf as he leads her to the town.

Arashi's manager finally broke down his door and forced him to work. "You've gone missing for half a month now! While I'm going here and there looking for work for you, you're enjoying here??💢💢"

"Bu-but manager! Mika just died, I'm not happy!" He cried again.

"You foolish boy!! There are some people who are really struggling out there just to eat a piece of bread! I bought you all the luxuries you need. Now, stop being a spoiler brat and come back to work! We've got a lot of shooting to do today! I'm sure you didn't even check your Twitter, your fans have been tweeting about your AWOL ever since you became like this!" His manager yelled and dragged him by his ear while Arashi continued to groan trying to get away but couldn't.

Kori reached the village and saw some of the exorcist walking around. Most were partnered but she rather works alone. She signalled her wolf to follow and it obeyed. The walked around the alleyway and along with some abandoned shacks. She passed by the grave and looked at it sadly. Her parents were there. She shook away the memories from her head as she walked further into the dark alleys. She looked down at the wolf.
"No sign of it," she said and walked back.

Gale past by Kori as he jumped down from the building and ran past her, he barely noticed her as he continued running with the other exorcists still investigating the alleyway, most barely noticed Gale when he past by them

The manager warned of a Shinigami that was loose around this parts. "Remember, if a Shinigami tries to kill you, just say your final prayers"

"Are you saying there's no hope of beating Shinigamis? Hehe..." Arashi responded.

"There is, but we don't have the weapons and we're not exorcists are we?" She laughed.

"Right..haha"

"Then again, some exorcists have been fetched to kill the Shinigamis so no need to worry about it, let's go"

"Okay then.. but let's hurry up..Magical Girl is going to come on TV at 5pm"

Suddenly, her wolf barked and let out a growl. Kori looked down at him. He would never act aggressively if something wasn't wrong. She looked around the area but saw nothing. The wolf lightly bit her hand and tugged on her shirt. She followed.
They went into the darker parts of the village. The slums, the black market, getting further away from the bustling town. Kori readied her sword. She can feel trouble coming closer.

After a quick one or two Photoshoot sessions, Arashi was finally let go. His manager gave him the okay to go home and so he quickly gathered up his belongings and packed immediately to go home.

"Don't let the Shinigami catch you~" she teased.

A slight shiver went in his spine making him to retaliate,"It's okay, I'll be sure to run away and if die, I'm coming back to hunt you ☺"

Arashi then left and got a cab, but traffic slowed him down. Out of pure impatience, he left the cab and took a shortcut in the alley.

After some time the exorcist decided it was just a rumour or something and went back, well it was sorta a rumour anyways as Gale went there after some time, he grabbed his scythe as he looked around in the alleyway “well not much people wandered around here but when they do it’ll be easy to take their souls” he muttered

Arashi met the group of exorcists who were on the way back. Immediately he yelled,"Wait! I can't give you autographs right now, I'm really busy you know? But I guess I can take a selfie with you guys but I don't want my fans to see me in such a dirty place like this kukuku so I guess I should go now"

Kori followed her wolf and he stopped at a dark alleyway. It looked so eerie though. The mysterious and scary aura was literally wafting in the air. She kneeled down at her wolf. "You should go find the other exorcist and tell them I'm here in case I need a little help," she instructed. The wolf let out a small bark as it ran off and Kori was left alone. She looked at the dark alleyway, not knowing what dangers could be lurking in the shadows. She walked into the darkness.

Gale noticed Kori as she slowly entered the alleyway, he waited until she was closed enough before shooting some electricity at her, trying to flitch her with it before swinging his scythe at her

Kori stopped dead in her tracks held her sword in front of her as she walked inside. She looked around, only a little lighting seeped into the dark place. She listened and heard a faint buzz.
"What the?" she whispered.
Meanwhile, her wolf had reached the other exorcist and tugged on of their shirt.

The group of Exorcists that were near heard the sound and immediately rushed away to the epicenter, Arashi tried to stopped them but failed. He followed them incase the Shinigami needed help for a boost in power.

Arashi followed , trying to hide the fact that he was not following them

“Sh**, guess it missed” Gale thought as he looked at the girl, she seems to be wielding a sword? That was when he realised she most likely is an exorcist, not like he never dealt with any before but he always have to be cautious around them, he tried shooting some electricity at her before jumping on the rooftop, he knew that being further away from her will probably make his chance of well, not getting killed higher as he can shoot electricity from there while she can’t do anything(but he doesn’t know she have a bow>:3)

The other exorcists interrupted the battle and they attacked Gale. Some of them tried to mutter words , and some of them attacked Gale with long distance range arrows and javelins.

In the meantime, the wolf and the girl disappeared from plain sight and Arashi was still observing them

Gale noticed the other exorcists as they shot arrows and javelins at him, he got hit by a few of them but manage to shot some electricity at them before running away, he can deal with one but not a whole group of them, he jumped down off the rooftop after some time before looking back to see if the exorcist followed him which some did and continued running until he lost them

Arashi enchanted the alley into a maze like structure, he separated Gale from the other exorcists and chased after him. The other exorcists ended up following the path which led them out of the alley but Arashi twisted the alley of Gale so much that he'd run into him. "Just you wait. I'm coming" he trembled with excitement.

Seeing the Shinigami disappear, Samton lowered his sword. Where are you when we need you, Kira? Samton wondered. His gun would've been quite useful. Samton kept at it, trying to find the shinigami. He knew Arashi would be rather close by, but didn't want to stop Arashi by trying to find him. Two birds are better than one.

Meanwhile, Kiragami stood on top of one of the buildings near the alleyway. You'll come out, beast. And I'll get you. I'll get you both. He kept his eyes sharp, waiting for a clear sign of the shinigami.
