There was a land named Floralia. It was ruled by a fair and just queen, Queen Sectonia. She and her servant, Taranza, lived here, ruling over the People of the Sky. They knew nothing of the world below. But, rumors spread...Taranza soon heard of the lower world. He wanted to investigate. Sectonia sent him, with supplies, to explore the lower world. He waved goodbye and set off. He reached the lower world, where he saw a quaint town with a castle. He explored the castle, not getting caught by the patrolling guards. He found a room full of artifacts from forgotten times and forgotten places. He found a most peculiar mirror. “This,”*he decided* “shall be what I take back!”

He hauled the mirror away using his magic. He returned back to his land and gifted the mirror to Sectonia as proof. She became obsessed with the mirror, she gazed into it for hours upon end. Floralia fell into ruin without the rule of the queen. Taranza did his best but he had no experience. Sectonia soon became brainwashed by the mirror, she began to hate her “true” form. She made herself look “beautiful”. She began her new rule. Her rule as a tyrant.

The Flower Floralians saw this change. They new the queen was too far gone. They sent the Dreamstalk seed to the lower world, to bring the Hero of the Lower World to save them, but the queen saw. She knew what they were doing and she wouldn’t allow it. Sectonia sent Taranza to the lower world to kidnap this so-called “Hero” to prevent any and all opposition. Taranza went to complete his mission, but there was a mistake. He had taken King DeDeDe instead. The Dreamstalk brought the true hero, Kirby!

Kirby went to each of the islands, collecting Sun Stones and growing the Dreamstalk. With each island cleared, the queen got angrier. Kirby finally got to her castle, she sent Taranza to fight for her. Taranza fought with all his might. Once Masked DeDeDe was defeated, he realized his mistake. He cursed himself. Sectonia appeared, she disposed of Taranza “I’ve no use for a servant who can’t even correctly follow orders” she said with a sneer, she turned to Kirby “Let’s see if you listen...leave this land now and you leave with your life, disobey, and...”she gave a sinister chuckle “No promises”. Kirby stood his ground, wielding his hammer. “Very well,” Sectonia muttered “We’ll see how long your pitiful rebellion will last”

Kirby defeated the evil queen. With her rule over Floralia and Dreamland to return to a state of peace, right? Wrong...

“Finally!” Taranza said, picking up the crown the defeated queen had dropped “After all these years...she’s gone” he said in a bittersweet tone that did not match when he said finally. “But now...” he said, a crazed look crept onto his face as he picked up a shard of glass from the mirror and put it on the center jewel of the crown. “its my turn” he said, placing the crown on top of his head

Taranza became a monstrous version of himself. He laughed manically. He sent out strings to catch Kirby and King DeDeDe. “Oh, how fun puppetry is!~” he said, making Kirby and King DeDeDe fight each other. Sectonia was laying, unconscious, off to the side, she had not yet died, she had returned to her true form. She propped herself up, watching Taranza. “T-Taranza...th-that’s not you...” she said weakly, Taranza didn’t hear.

Sectonia grabbed one of her scepters and threw it weakly. It landed on the floor with a loud, ringing “CLANG”, catching Taranza’s attention. Sectonia stood up. “Stop this, Taranza. This isn’t you...”she said. “I never told you to stop during your rule, did I?” Taranza retorted “Why should I listen to you? Just because you’re my “queen”? Not anymore...” Taranza used Kirby and King DeDeDe to attack. Both hammers smacking into Sectonia simultaneously, she screamed with pain. “T-Taranza...” she said weakly, blood dripping from her mouth, “This is not you!” She said, grasping her other scepter and uses it to prop herself up. She grabbed the end of the scepter she had thrown and brought it to her. She turned them into swords. “And I’ll do anything to bring the old you back.” “It will be a waste of your life, then“ Taranza replies, sending Kirby and King DeDeDe after her.
