Ivy smiled. She liked the idea of another adventure. "Just, please no more caves," she said. They reached a house. "I'm assuming we're stopping here?" she asked.

"Oh okay," she said she lowered her soaking wet hoodie and stepped inside. The house looked big and cozy. She smiled. " Nice house," she said as she shook the rainwater out her wet hair and tied it back into a ponytail.

Ivy sat down on the floor. "Okay I'll crash here," she said trying to be funny. Nora looked at her weirdly. She let out a laugh. "Kidding!," she said as she sat on one of the comfortable sofas. She looked around. "Huh? Where are the others?" she said as she let out a yawn.

"Ah, okay," she said. She began to feel sleepy. She looked at the mirror beside her and saw dark circles under her eyes, a scar on her cheek and a scratch on her lips and forehead. She doesn't even recognize herself anymore. She let out another yawn and began scratching her wounds. Great, she thought. They're itchy now. She knew it was bad to scratch them but she couldn't stop herself.

stardust is in the cave, knocked unconscious.
he has a gigantic wound gushing out blood going from
his left shoulder to his right hip but is isn't fatal.
when he wakes up, he wonders where Ivy is.
"Ivy? you here?" stardust says, also keeping watch
for the girl that attacked him earlier. he checks to see
if the diamonds are still there in his bag, and they are.
he sighs in relief and continues to walk for about another
hour. after all the walking, stardust slumps down in a section
of the cave and shouts out loud enough for Ivy and Nora to
just barely hear him. "I-Is anyone out there?" he says, brushing
his blue hair out of his face and wiping off dirt from his shirt.
"if anyone can h-hear me... p-please... help me...".
stardust then faints out of a lack of energy to keep moving.

Stardust's body is shaking, as though he has
seen something terrible. Stardust wakes up,
his eyes petrified with fear and anger.

Ivy woke up and stretched herself. She didn't realize that she fell asleep. She was covered in blankets and was dressed in newly washed dried clothes. "Huh," she muttered. She also saw her wounds in a bandage. She looked around for Nora but she couldn't find her. "Nora?" she called out as she got up. She wandered around the living room for her but still no sign. Thinking it was rude for her to just bust into the other rooms, she sat on the sofa and waited while popping another mint into her mouth.

stardust is awake from his sleep and looks at the wound on his chest, which
is now stitched up. he wonders about where Ivy, Jack, and the rest of the people that
entered the trial went. he gets up and sighs.

Ivy sat patiently in the living room. She started to play around with the pillows there. The childish side of her was springing back. She laid down and looked at the ceiling then sat back up. She started to run around the room for no apparent reason. She chuckled. "What's wrong with me?" she said to herself with a laugh. She looked around again.
"Nora! You here?" she called out again.
