So, submissions have been closed. And there will be ratings for all of our sprites. The ones that appear on the site first will be by the creators, and they will have the shiny sprite.

@willg8686 - Some of that is correct.
Yes, they will get rated by the Staff; no that does not mean they'll be the next event to appear
Yes, they will have a shiny version; no you will not get the shiny sprite. Only the creator that won gets a free shiny [of their winning submission]

The winners will be chosen by us, the staff, based on quality.

Note: due to Riako wanting to keep the sprites a secret as long as possible, the winners will only be revealed on the day their sprite will be released. This will cause some winners to know they've won earlier than others.
The consolation prize will only be distributed when the last winner is revealed.
If there is a long(er) period between the second-to-last and the last winner prizes may be distributed earlier [and the final winner will be notified by me and sworn to secrecy]


From what CatLady has said you really wont know if you've won until your sprite is released (or not released).
We'll all be gradually finding out who won until the last winner's event pokemon is released and the consolationprizes are given out.
All in all theres no real set date :)

I believe they will be voting on which sprites are gonna be in the website during Fall/Winter.
We gotta wait and see.
