He leaves one berry on the bush. "Assignments not due for a week, so first things first." He goes behind Loparu and grabs his hands. "Now position your hands like this..." He shows Loparu how to properly use his knife.

Chandi took an interesting look at the gentleman whose name is John, and gave a bit of glare and soon Chandi stayed in the Viper Pit and relaxed by grabbing an apple from her backpack then Chandi thought of something, "I see this interesting fellow, and I wonder why he hasn't noticed me?", Chandi asked herself. Then Chandi realized, "If I want to get either more copper coins, I better grab the mission when I ready for it".

John finally gets home and starts throwing things around that he has collected while exploring the desert over the years. He didn’t like doing it, but it was amazing what you could find on a dead body. He finds some jade orb and tosses it, that not being valuable here. He finds a gold piece and puts it away. He finally finds the tool and heads back out, acknowledging Chandi and waves, hoping to get a kind wave back from her, not knowing if she was human or werecreature.

Chandi was stunned to see the fellow waving at her, Chandi smiled for the first time and waved back, stunned and surprised Chandi said to herself, "I just hope this fellow is nice and serious because at this rate if the situation at the Viper Pit will settled down I might be the happy warrior on the inside and out".

Loparu feels awkward as Suren helps him use his dagger. He feels a little more confident by the end of it... but he wonders how he's going to pass this off. Werecreature? Of course not, thats his secret. Clumsy? Seems a little off. Eventually he settles on an excuse. "T-thanks," Loparu says awkwardly. "I'm new to the circle, and I'm not great with daggers yet..." Its only half a lie. "Anything else we need to collect? He asks."

Kyrk had long since left the area. Wandering around the town, he grew bored. There was nothing to do for him, nothing new to see. He shrugged, tried to convince himself not to, then went to the Dragonhead Tavern and got a small drink, one of his favorite pastimes being drinking a little bit at a time.

A shadowy figure approached Kyrk. "Ah, a werecreature, I see, just who I was looking for." He tips his over sized, dark hat at him. "Listen, kid. What do you think about the werecreature taxes? Surely you've heard by now."

Hohn gets to the person and trades the tool, getting the 25 pieces of gold. He goes back to the tavern, not noticing Kyrk and the shadowy figure talking about the higher taxes. He orders a drink and relaxes and drinks it.

Kyrk eyed the figure carefully. "What do I think? If you're trying to get me to say something to get me arrested, you're gonna have to get me drunk first. But what do I think of them? Eh.. I think they're unfair. Charging somebody different than you a little bit more? Stupid, I say." He grinned at the figure, then chuckled a little bit.

The figure nods, then points at John too. "And you Mr. Elephant. No need to wonder how I know, I'm just good with tails." The creature flicked his tail, and flicked a copper piece into the air and caught it, basically your average sketchy joe. "What do you think about the taxes?"

"Yeah," he hands him a copy of the list. Meet here in an hour?" He heads off to get his stuff. A little later, he goes back to where they met. "You get everything we needed?" he asks.

Loparu nods, panting and holding various spices and veggies. "Yeah, I have them. I hope this is worth it... I chased a thief across the bazaar for this one," He points at a spice, trying not to drop them. "But I digress. Where to now?"

Loparu stiffens, and then sighs. "Yeah, I suppose I made it obvious enough with my 'excelent toolsmanship'. No, thy don't... or I wouldn't be let in." Loparu supposed he could trust Suren, he shared his disgust at racism and they had already quested this far. "I wanted to join to make the town a safer place, so... the tail had to go." Loparu grimaced. "But now I'm beggining to rethink this... the Circle boss wanted to charge werecreatures more?"

Loparu nods. "The circle usually has an evening patrol, you should watch out for that." He pauses. "I hope that werecat's keeping his promise, and actually spreading the word." Loparu already has a lot of coins, so he hands Suren 7 golds and 5 silvers. "Heres half the payment for that darn cat's service. We should pay equal." He gives Suren a smile.

"They'll wonder where you're going at such a late time, unless you're heading to the Tavern. Trust me... I was out late one night trying to complete a task and one of them wanted to throw me in jail." Loparu half laughed half cringed at himself.

"Anyway, I think we're approaching the location," He said to Suren, eyeing the nearby Blacksmith where he thought the ingredients were for. He stopped outside the door. "This should be the right place," He stated.

Suren takes the ingredients and walks inside. He receives the payment and walks back out. He hands 50 gold coins to Loparu. "Your half." He begins to walk away. "Remember. Meet at the Bazaar at 6:30."

Loparu nods. Wow, 50 gold pieces was a lot for some soup ingredients! He wondered what the blacksmith was going to do with them. "Afterwards, I think we have time to go to the meeting we asked that cat to start, at the back of the tavern." He said to Suren with a grin. "Hopefully we can do something about the taxes, or at least start developing a plan. I'll see you around!"




The shady figure in the bar laughs. "Tough crowd? Nevermind. Just come behind the tavern at 9:00 at night. It ain't a trap, I'm a cat of my word. Other people will be there, and they're gonna discuss the taxes. Remember: 9:00 o clock, tavern back." He tipped his hat again, and dissapeared into the crowd, out of sight from john and Kyrt.
