Why is the shadow radar minigame so bad(just angry atm)? I just legitimately spent about 30mins on a shadow magikarp and broke my chain on accident.

Are shadow Pokemon even worth anything? I basically don't even use the radar at this point because of how long it takes, and I seem to get the same Pokemon a lot even though there are so many Pokemon in the game.

Fyi: I know how the minigame works, but it takes literal ages.
