One of the ways this game doesn’t follow the main series is that
Sync Pairs only have one weakness in this game. I know that DeNa
likely did it to simplify the gameplay but theory crafting how it
could work in the lore is fun. A theory I have is that Pasio has
some sort of training regimen that allows Sync Pairs to become
resistant to that Pokémon’s weaknesses, but they cannot train
against all of the Pokémon’s weaknesses. Therefore, trainers have
to pick what type they want their Pokémon to be weak to. This
explains how Pokémon of the same species can have different
weaknesses in this game.https://100001.onl/https://1921681254.mx/ one example is
that Calem’s Meowstic is weak to Ghost but the Meowstic In Noland’s
hall of Battle Villa along with the boss Meowstic In Challenge Team
Break part:1 of the Team Skull event are weak to Bug. Another
example of this is that Roxie’s Scolipede is weak to Psychic while
the two Scolipedes in EX Janine are weak to Fire.
It's technically a whole new region here as it is Emera, thus, they
have their own perks per say. Alola had Z Moves, Galar had Dynamax,
and Kalos had Megas, Emera has one weakness pokemon.
