Serpent managed to hoist herself up. The burn still stung a lot. "Urghhhh...." she hissed and winced.

I'm trying to think of a good signature, so... Use your imagination.

Akira stayed silent, he should probaly have taken some back up. He reached into the water carefully, some smoke escaped as the water cooled off his hands

Akira used the moment of them being distracted to leave and flee back to the base (is it a base?). He still seemed pretty beaten up yet went to the Captain to apologise and probaly get yelled at for failing
