Serena immediately threw her sword at the griffin,the griffin dodges and Serena threw a random rock at the griffin,before grabbing her sword which fell to the ground Serena turned to Vex”get out of he- oh,she already left”

Vex reached home at one point. "AAAAAH-" She was still screaming, scared of the vile monster that was maybe gonna attack them ((really not tho)). She ran to her Mom and Dad, who where in thier bedroom "MOOOOM, DAAAAAD. THERE WAS A STUPID CREATURE THING OUT THERE! IT WAS GONNA KILL ME"

The Griffin swiftly dodged her attack. The griffin reached for her sword and picked it up with it's mouth. It would be hard to get the sword away for the creature now. It turned it's head again.

"Hey, wanna come in this trash can with me?"

Sage gratefully accepts the handshake. "It's nice to meet you Amy" she happily leans back into her chair. She glances around. "Beautiful day isn't it?" It was beautiful. It was very sunny today, even the great mountain just beyond the woods seemed to be quiter today. She shuts her eyes and softly begins to hum to herself again.

Francis rides through the streets of the poor kingdom. The guards arc around the elder, making sure nobody strays too close to their king. He knows where to find Sage, she is almost always near her hut. "That old bat is going to be so happy to see me" Francis purrs. Knowing fully well that, that isn't true.

Gwen smiles at Jen. "Why hello" she discreetly passes the girl a handful of coins. She puts a finger to her lips, silently telling the girl to keep quiet. "I'm assuming Madrial is home" she straightens up and crosses her arms. "Madrial!" She shouts. "I know that you are home. Get over here now!" She tries to fight an amused smile as she anticipates his annoyance

Serena tried to threw a random rock at the griffin,before running away,she immediately bumped into shadow”I’m so sorry but we need to run,NOW!”Serena points to the griffin holding her sword

The Griffin cocked it's head some more. It didnt want to hurt them, it just wanted to see them.

"Honestly Vex you must bother us now of all times? Did you fall asleep over there again? Whatever, go to your room now" the mother said, pointing her to leave

She nods and sits down in another chair. She had noticed these things as well. The sun was shining brightly, the breeze was perfect, and everything smelled wonderful. She didn’t say anything so she wouldn’t don’t disturb her.

Since the clothing they wore didn’t have any room for pockets, she stuffed the coins in her thick black hair. Due to it being in a bun, it could hold a few small and non heavy things unnoticeably. She turned around, hoping that Madrial would get too mad. Whenever someone requested to see him specifically, he usually got angry or annoyed.

“Like I’ll ever!” He yelled, knowing immediately who it was. “I’m busy, leave the message or whatever with Jen!” He yelled again, silently pinning the girl against the wall by her neck, careful not to choke her. He couldn’t risk her yelling out, or even making a noise.

Shadow looked at her like she was delusional. Why was she so panicked? The griffin didn’t even attack them. He sat down, looking up at her.

The griffin saw Shadow. It gave a odd looking shrug motion at them. The griffin never had any intention of harming anyone, his lord had ordered him not to do harm to even the rich.

"Fiiiiiine!" She said, slamming thier door. "Hey hobo, fix me a steak." She said, stepping on his foot. The servant whined. "Not later, now weakling!"

Serena just looked at the griffin,it was weird the griffin never attacked her,she then tried to grab the sword in the griffin’s mouth”give me back my sword!”

"I'm coming in!" She calls as she steps into the house. "If you need more cash to retire you know where to find me" she whispers to the servant before walking towards where she heard him call. "It's official military business!" She lies. "You best better meet up with me face to face or I will send you to the slammer for resisting a military command" she clenches her fists. There was an ugly reason why he wasn't answering the door himself. Her humor was replaced by anger.

"Why hello Sage" Francis calls as his horse slows into a trot. Sage's eyes fly open. They squint ever so slightly into an glare. She stands up, glancing down nervously at Amy before she shoots Francis an annoyed look. "It's too early to tax us!" She shouts.
"Says who? You aren't in a position to make the rules. I request three cows, six goat, ten chickens, and a sackful of wheat and veggies. Do this and you won't pay the price" with every command the older woman seems to fume more and more.
"We need this more than you!" She shouts at him. To which he ignores. He is now staring at Amy.
"We could use a new servant" he tells her

The Griffin hesitated, he knew she would just attack him if he gave it up. He pulled away from her by 5 feet. It took out a talon, and drew a peace symbol. Something it's master taught it

Serena looked at the peace symbol,she was surprised a griffin knew about the peace symbol,she then looked up at the griffin”I won’t attack you,I promise,just give me back my sword”

Her eyes widen as soon as he looked at her. Servant? Why should she be a servant all because of this? Her parents died to try and achieve freedom for themselves and her. She didn’t say anything, knowing it could get her in trouble.

“F*** off!” He yelled, but less loud. He knew that she was lying. Besides, why would he care if she wasn’t? He could easily get off without a scratch. “I’ve got a gun and pretty good aim. Get out before I shoot your f***ing face off!”

Shadow was about to put her into a deep sleep before she said she wasn’t going to hurt them. He sat still, watching this go on. He found it interesting that a Griffin would ever be here, and even a human or two would be here as well.

The griffin thought she might be nice enough. It dropped the sword, and moved back a little. It turned it's face again, looking at Selena with a curious face once more.

Serena slowly grab her sword and backed up”look,I promised I won’t hurt you,I’ll just go back now”Serena headed back to her kingdom,despite knowing she’d be in trouble for not killing anything

The Griffin gave an odd lion purr noise. It seemed happy that she understood. It saw Shadow in the distance, and tried to walk towards them.

"Y-Yes'm" After a while, it was finished. She began to eat, and here it came again. "UGH! You can't do anything right? You little-" She spat in his face. The servant looked like he was about to cry

"Hey, wanna come in this trash can with me?"

Gwen laughs at that. "Oh come on. Do you really think you would serve will against me? I am a royal guard for a reason" she knocks on the door in the room he is in. "Now answer me or I will not go away!" While she waits for him she grabs her bag of cash and holds it behind her back. The bag is small but the coins are worth a lot. It's more than enough for whoever is being tortured right now to live on her own long enough to find a new job. She glares at the door. She will never stand for this treatment. She doesn't care that she overuses her rank to get what she wants.

"No" Sage says. She blocks his view from Amy. "You'll have what you requested" she tells him, speaking much more calmly now. "But you will not steal any more of my people. Don't think that I don't know how unfairly they are treated there!" She shouts. Francis glares at her. But he knows fully well that he can't respond against that.

"You'd better" he snaps. He nods at the guards and together the three take off

Shadow sat there, unmoving. He knew that the griffin had no intent on harming anything. He looked at it curiously, waiting to see what it would do next.

“Wanting to help these brats, huh? If like to see you try...” he grinned and gripped the girl’s neck tighter, making her choke. Due to how weak she was, she was almost about to pass out.

Amy looked at Sage with scared eyes. She didn’t want this. They needed that, but she also didn’t want to be sent off to be a slave.

Serena was waiting for shadow to answer,then she looks up at the griffin,waiting for the griffin’s next action,I knows the griffin don’t want to harm anyone,so she was curious to what the griffin will do next

(Can we give the griffin a name at this point xD)
