*Maddy looked at Sage* They plan to invade our lands and wipe us all out.

*Talla began to fight the armed villagers. This ralleyed her men and they followed her into the fight*

Luke sees the fighting soldiers and tells the horse to go back to the village. He sits still watching, afraid one of the soldiers will see him. He hides behind a skinny tree.

"Oh dear, no that certainly isn't good" she nods at some people that are around her. "Gather all our villagers. We must put some distance between us... And fast!"

Gwen releases the arrow. Is quickly sails toward Talla. She ducks down into the bushes, not waiting to see if the shot landed. She tries to stay in the shadows as she takes out her dagger. She focuses on one of the men, who is closest to her. She walks towards him, watching in horror as he fights some villagers to the death. She leaps at him, aiming the dagger at his neck

*Talla turned in a split second and split the arrow with her sword, both pieces landing in two different villagers. She saw Gwen with her knife heading towards one of her men. Talla pointed her sword towards Gwen.* I knew I recognized you.

*Maddy looked at Sage.* If I make a request, my friend here hasn't eaten in days. Please let her get something to eat and in return, *Maddy drew her sword* I will give you my sword

(When I saw give you my sword, I mean she will fight for Sage)

Gwen ignores Talla as she drives the dagger in the brute's neck. Having just jumped on the guy, she forces him to crash to the ground. She puts a boot on his face and rips the dagger out. She wipes the blood on his uniform. "You recognize me? That's a bit too late in my opinion" Gwen responds. She loads another arrow into her bow, not looking too worried at all. "I'd run if I were you Talla. There are too many villagers for you to fight"

"I can do you one better" Sage responds. "You can choose to live in our wonderful kingdom. Once this is all over of course" one of her right hands disappears. She returns later with some fruit and bread. "It's not much, but it'll do" Sage tells Maddy as the girl passes the food over to Maddy.

*Talla watched as her man fell to the ground. She closed her eyes and looked down laughing.* You see, Gwen, *Talla's smile disappeared and when she looked up her eyes were black.* I'm never outmatched *She charged towards Gwen, cutting down every villager in her path.*


* Maddy gave Tani the food. Tani mouthed thank you to Sage. Maddy looked back at Sage* Thank you so much. Your kindness will be repayed. But there is something else I need to discuss with you in private

Gwen's eyes widen. She fires the already prepared for arrow at Talla. Knowing fully well that she won't have time to load another, she grabs for her dagger. She moves into a fighting stance and tries to prepare for what's to come.

Sage bows her head. "Of course, it's no problem!" She looks behind her at her hut. "We can talk in there" Sage tells Maddy as she leads her over

Gwen manages to block a few attacks, but because of that her arm and shoulder gets cut up. Blood drips down her cheek from a stray attack. She hops away from Talla, trying to avoid her for a second. She curls her hands into a fist and twists the blade outward so that blade is sticking out next to her fist. She leaps forward, throwing an uppercut with her normal fist and then following it with a punch by her knifed hand.

"What else is going on?" Sage asks tiredly as she sits down on her bed. She holds her forehead and sighs, feeling slightly overwhelmed by all of this new information

Luke is shocked by everything that is happening in this fight and he is scared. He starts to hide behind a small rock, but part of his hair is showing.

Gwen rips her hand away from Talla's grip and holds her face, blood gushing down her nose now. "Tsk, I'm just trying to distract you so everyone else can close in" that wasn't actually her plan all along, but it sounded like she meant it. She kicks her leg forward, trying to sweep Talla down to the ground.

Sage sighs "I've heard of it, but I don't understand the details"

The fight Gwen and Talla were putting a toll on him. He could almost feel each strike, like how an argument would leave a cut with every word. “Dammit...” he muttered as he reappeared in another tree. He couldn’t let the fight continue. He took a deep breath and walked forwards, knowing all the risks he was taking by simply showing his face to the two. He was a beast after all, and they might know that. Besides, they were fighting. One stray knife could hinder him enough for the kill.

*Maddy didn't waver from her stance* Four years ago, one woman wipped out an entire village of 50 people. This woman was said to have had eyes that would turn black when she became enraged or had murderous thoughts.

*Talla grabbed Gwen's leg and threw her to a tree. A few villagers attack Talla, but Talla fought them back.*

"How is that possible?" Sage asks. "And what does she have to do with this current situation?"

Gwen shakily rises to her feet. How was it possible for Talla to fight off all of these people single-handedly? With Talla distracted, Gwen races at Talla, aiming to stab at her side. Gwen's own side hurt like crazy from being slammed into a tree. But pure adrenaline ensures that she won't notice it yet

He stayed hidden as he watched the current situation. Someone was going to get killed... He couldn’t just sit here like a coward, scared that he was going to die. He had to do something. It all started out with him just wanting to maintain peace in the forest, but now it felt like life or death.

*Maddy looked at Sage* She is leading the Cloaked Army. A large and powerful army that the rich hired to help them fight in this war.


*Gwen successfully stabbed Talla but Talla was one step ahead of her. Talla kicked Gwen's legs out from under her and twisted her arm, causing a blood curdling crack. Talla threw Gwen to the ground and was about to cut her head off until more villagers arrived and saved Gwen*

Worry fills Sage's gaze. "We don't have the man fire to fight them. Do you think escape is possible!?" Sage stands up and looks outside. She relaxes when she notices everyone beginning to gather up outside. "You obviously know more than me, what is our best option?" Sage asks.

A white light fills Gwen's eyes as she collapses to the ground. She cries out in pain and craddles her arm against her chest. She doesn't even realize that her life has just been saved. She spits out some blood, having ending up biting the inside of her cheek. Her breathing turns ragged. The pain was so unbearable that she almost forgot to breath. She slowly sits up and watches the villagers fight Talla. "It's not worth it!" Gwen manages to croak out. She stands up, wincing whenever she slightly moves her hurt arm. "She's not human! We have to run!" She shouts. She takes a few steps back, not willing to run unless she knows that others will follow.
