DISCLAIMER: This is a more
“tragic” and “gruesome” roleplay, so I recommend being more
experienced in darker Roleplays before being in this one. Also,
there might be some.... unexpected events
You’ve lived in a lonely circus your entire life (at least
most of it). You’re here because no one else will accept you.
You’re too... eerie and dark. The Grand Master accepted you. His
underlings have taken care of you like family, taught you
everything you know. You feel like you belong here. The circus is
full of fun and games. You get to preform for young children.
Yes... children. That’s what you’ve been taught to love. You’ve
been told that it’s ok to steal these wonderful children from their
families and... well, heh heh... We wouldn’t want to spoil that,
now would we?

Callabri had the job of knife juggling and the more fire-focused
acts. Today, though, she decided to go with knife throwing. After
all, today was a special day. She stared at all the lovely children
in the crowd. Such lovely children... After this is over she
chided herself. She smiled and waved as she stepped up onto her
small stage and got out 9 knives from her belt. She wanted to
slowly progress as the show went on, maybe even do some knife
throwing tricks at the end. She began to juggle 2, watching as
Talla was doing her act. She admired Talla, she appreciated how
calm she was.
Lost preferred to stay behind and watch their acts. She wasn't a
huge fan of the spotlight, but she had a job to do. In order for
her to work here she had to lure children in. Her job was simple,
to sing. She had the voice of an angel, although her face didn't
really match her voice. She glances at herself in the mirror to
make sure the scar on her forehead is covered by her hair. She
turns back to the stage and watches Talla's act.
(Gotta work late tonight ;-; so I'll be more active later)
(Oof...)
She glanced around, but still made it appear as though all her
focus was either in the knives or the audience. She remembered
there being more performers, but she was fine with only a few. It
left more room for her to do whatever she wanted, and no one could
tell her otherwise. She got the third one into the air, grabbing
the attention of a few more people. She tried to be out of the
spotlight as much as she could, since she wanted others to have a
turn. She was one of the oldest members of the circus (time wise,
not age wise), she was here before the current Grand Master came.
Ah, how she missed the other one. She never talked about him,
though. Other side performers did simple tricks all around the
stage, adding a bit of flare to the acts.
Lost watches Callabri go with a look of awe. The girl had such
power and grace in her movements, it surprised her every time. She
waited patiently for Callabri to finish before she slowly slinked
onto the stage. She put on some sunglasses as she walked, giving
her an excuse to shut her eyes. She panicked when she was on stage,
especially once the spot light hit her. She squeezes her eyes shut
and begins her tune. It's a short song about being lost in a forest
and soon realizing that it's better to stay lost rather than find
her way out. She loved telling short stories through music. When
she finishes she leaves immediately, sometimes before an applause
can even start
*Maddy exited her dressing room. Her eyes were red and wet, for she
had been crying. She walked toward the entrance to the ring and
sprinted out with the remaining people and animals. She jumped on a
trampoline that launched her to her sister, Talla's arms. Talla
looked at her sibling* Dont ruin this, half breed. *She threw Maddy
to her position on the highest part of the Big Top*

Skyla leaned on entrance doorframe, most people were already seated
and eyes glued to the stage, they wouldn't leave until half time.
She watched Maddy and Talla's act with baited breath.
Lost relaxes in her chair in the large dressing rooms. She'll stay
here until the whole show is over, after that she'll have to do her
job. Tears spring in her eyes when she remembers what she has to
do. She clenches her teeth and kicks the table, wincing at the
blow. 'Calm down Lost, it's either this or the streets, and there
is no way I could survive alone out there' she thinks to herself
After a while she had all 9 knives in the air, but her face
appeared to grow more sad as the show went on. She loved her act,
yes, but it was better for single performances. It attracted all
the attention. She decided to end her act early and start throwing
them. She gracefully plucked one out of the air and flung it across
the ring with great accuracy. She didn’t see where it landed, she
had to keep focusing on the other 8.
*Maddy watched Talla fly threw the air. She smiled while scanning
the crowd. Talla came towards Maddy and Maddy jumped into her
sisters arms. Talla then launched the two threw a hoop and onto one
of the circuses elephants. The two slide down it's nose and stood
up, hand in hand in the air smiling. Then Maddy saw a little kid
staring at her. Maddy's eyes began to tear up at the thought of
what was going to happen to that child*

One of the knives that Callabri threw stuck in the side of the
cirus ring, Skyla grinned a bit. At least she didn't nearly hit
me like last time, Skyla though to herself with a chuckled, but
that chuckled died when she saw Maddy looking upset. Skyla hated
stealing from the kids as much as Maddy and hardly ever stole from
anyone, unless they were asking for it of course. Kids were cute
and nice mostly, but sometimes she got the
"I'manentitledbratanddeservetheworldandmore" kind of kid, then she
found it slightly justifed.

A kid about maybe seven was sitting on his father's shoulders in
the back. Pity flodded Skyla. That poor kid, he doesn't even
know what's going to happen. . .
Lost stands up, knowing that it's about time. Shaking off the pain
in her foot she moves towards the stage and hides in darkness. She
waits patiently for her cue
(I was intending for everyone to be raised to love stealing and
killing, but this is a nice twist ;P)
She flung another knife to the other end of the stage. 7. She
looked around at everyone, noticing that they weren’t excited about
afterwards. She surely was. She grinned as she looked up at the
knives she was throwing in the air.
She continued until she was all out of knives. She was going to
wait until halftime to get them, so for now she walked off stage
and went to find Skyla.
Skyla had disapeared to the bathroom to get ready for whatever
person she was going to have to deal with. A man had followed her
in, locking the door behind them, she probably wouldn't have
noticed if he hadn't locked the door. She jumped and turned, noting
the glint of lust in his eyes. He was on her before she could
shout, but as she struggled she freeded a hand and used it to grip
something. It was hard and seemed promising. After a moments
hesitation she swung the object hard against the man's temple,
hoping this would stun him long enough to escape, but it so much
more than that.
CRACK!
The man crumpled to the ground, bleeding heavly from the head, the
bloodied plunger in her trembling hands. It hadn't fully suken in
what she'd just done but she bolted for the door, dropping the
weapon as she fumbled with sweat slick hands with the lock before
finally getting it open and weaved through the crowds unoticed and
ducked behind two stands that sheilded a corner. Her sancuary. It
wasn't much, but it was enough. She sat on the ground and stared at
her hands as if there was blood on them. What did I just do?
