The screech startled Sabrina and she dropped the bracelet, causing it to unravel. She looked at the Noivern in confusion, wondering what it was doing.

She sighed and picked up the bracelet. She stared at it before throwing it to the sighed. She closed her eyes and let out a strong exhale.

"Is something wrong?" Emerson asks Sabrina. She had watched all of this silently, her brow furrowed with concern. "You seem nervous, is it us?" She asks. "You don't need to fear us, not every Elemental is dangerous" she smiles and looks at the ground. "I know a Elemental who also uses fire, he uses the temperature to bend steel and cut steel. He basically makes unique weopons which he gives away to villages that are overpopulated with normal people" she explains. "Powers such as mine are very destructive, but they can also be used uniquely for good purposes. Such as crafting weopon and closing wounds"

She sighed as she fiddled with some grass strands. “No.... It’s just...” she hesitated. She didn’t know what to say. The only thing she saw the powers used for was for destruction, even if one side was to protect her. She knew there was good to the powers but... why was she so scared of them?

"It's alright to be wary of your powers at first" she points out. "It's a totally new experience, especially if you went your whole life not even knowing you have them" she grins, "But once you get use to it, you won't ever go back to being normal, in fact, you'll only want to get stronger. There is something mighty addicting about being the strongest" she knows she shouldn't admit that part, but if Sabrina wants to use her powers she should know everything about it. Even the mindset that comes with it

“What if I go power hungry? What if I...” her voice faltered a bit. Why would she though? She looked at Emerson and sighed. “I just... what if something happened that...” why couldn’t she finish? Her voice wouldn’t work anymore. She knew Gran wasn’t her bloodline, so who was...? Why did they leave her?

"The fact that you are even worried about going power hungry is enough to prove on it's own that it won't happen" she answers. "And look at the Elemental that attacked you, how well did that work for him?" She asks her "Most Elementals don't allow people to mindlessly use their powers" she pauses, sensing lots of panic coming from Sabrina. "You don't need to worry about anything" she tells her softly, hoping her calmness will help calm Sabrina

Emerson hugs the smaller girl, she releases a small amount of heat from her fingertips, using the warmth to calm her. "We can have this talk later, you're going to need some time to sit on the fact you have powers"

She nodded and a smile rugged at the edge of her mouth. The sense of peace she had with Emerson made her a bit calmer towards the situation.

"Oh yeah" she responds, just noticing the darkening sky. She stands up and stretches, "It was very nice to meet you Sabrina" she tells the girl "I gotta get going, I promised my friend I'd meet up with him"

“Alright.” She smiled as she stood up and turned to face her door. “I’ll be here if you want to stop by sometime.” She mentally cursed herself for saying it that way. It sounded weird, like she was on a date with her. Why would she? She just met her and she wasn’t attracted to her. She looked at Sina and Admin, wondering what they were going to do.

She grins, glad to have a new friend. "I'll be sure to stop by then" she walks a few steps and pauses "Consider what I said, but do keep in mind, you don't have to learn but how to use your powers if you don't want to" with that last statement spoke she walks off. She puts her hands in her pocket, humming to herself again as she walks. She decides to take the long way back, which means crossing through the woods, not that she minds. If anyone tried to attack her she could use the surrounding trees and grass as fuel for her power

She waved goodbye to Emerson, Sina, and Admin as she opened her door and stuffed her hands in her jacket pockets. She looked around, trying to find Gran. She checked the living room, her room, Gran’s room, the storage room, and even the attic. She couldn’t find her. She began to worry as she yelled for her, but no response. Only silence. She looked outside on the back porch, nothing. She sighed as she decided that Gran went to get something from the store. She usually left without saying something if Sabrina wasn’t in the house. She went to her room and sat down on her bed. She took her jacket off and set it on her chair near her bed. She opened a drawer and pulled out an old Dog Tag (military ones), not clear enough to read. She stared at it for a bit, wondering where it came from.

In the distance she sees a small, almost run down looking shop that's across from her house. The shop has a few burnt holes along the wall and rooftop, but other than that, it stands proud. A boy about Emerson's age is waiting by the doorway. He wipes his ashy hands with a washcloth. "You're running late" he points out to her, he tries to sound irritated but his kind expression gives it away. "Yeah yeah" Emerson responds dismissively. She glances into the open doorway where a few customers glance at weopons along the walls. "I thought you were going to help me out today" the boy complains. "I got a bit sidetracked, I'll explain later" Emerson explains. She enters the store and moves to the back where heavy sheets of metal lay. She gets to work, burning the metal until it turns into hot coils that move freely. She bends them into a sword shape. She shapes three swords before she starts to feel the drain of energy

She sighed as she set the tag back in her drawer and closed it. She got up and decided to go outside somewhere. Surely Gran would come back by the time Sabrina was done... right? Before she left, she wrote a note saying that she would be out for a bit. She headed out the door and asked someone for a ride to Lavender Town. They stared at her like she went insane, but proceeded to give her a lift.

(I feel like everyone abandoned this RP...)
