New Story - Reunion by Daylight

A new day approaches...today was another day. Daybreak had gone out somewhere today, leaving Yung alone in his home. He didn't know what would happen today.

Daylight was wandering around the guild, bored. Anubis was still asleep and the higher-ups had gotten all the missions lately.. ‘Maybe I should go and visit Yung and Daybreak.. I wonder what they’re up to’ He thought as he opened his door and went out into the main room, opening the portal with the lever on the wall and going on through, appearing near Yung’s house in the clouds.

The city in the skies seemed to be as normal as ever. There didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary today.

“Heh, I could stay up here forever…” Daylight said as he looked around, but he quickly shook his head and went in the direction on Yung’s house, when he got there he just barely rang the doorbell since it was slightly too high up for him.

“Come in!” The door opened on its own. Yung probably had opened it with Psychic, yet he wasn’t in sight. He was definitely around though, he could hear someone in the house. He would be immediately greeted by a giant balloon near the entrance. It was very common for Yung to have these as well as bubbles scattered around his home.

He was suprised as a bubble suddenly flew by him “Hey Yung! I thought I’d just drop by, we haven’t seen eachother in forever!” Daylight called as he managed to manoeuvre throughout all the bubbles in the living room, eventually making his way to the couch.

"Oh my, Daylight?" Yung peeped his head out of the kitchen, a light smile on his face as he saw him. "It really has been a while, hm? It's really nice to see you!" He would walk out of the kitchen, rolling a balloon over. "Want one?" He had a cheerful smile on his face.

“No thanks!” He politely refused “I’ve just squeezed my way through a ton” Daylight chuckled and took off his scarf, revealing his necklace underneath. He put his blue scarf on the table, getting off his thunderbolt backpack and rummaging through it “What do you wanna play? I’ve got Uno.. Connect 4.. a Nintendo switch..” he said as he continued searching

"Oh my, you've brought a lot hm?" Yung chuckled softly. "C'mere though, I haven't been able to do this in ages." He picked up Nerdy and flopped onto a balloon, making it groan under him. He playfully hugged him and nuzzled his head.

Daylight smiled in delight as he bounced on the balloon, not noticing his glasses fly off, but they landed perfectly in his bag with a small clunk.

“Hey I don’t mind what we do really…by the way…what’s a ‘Nintendo Switch’?” He tilted his head curiously as he continued to hug Daylight. There was plenty of room for Daylight to bounce around too on the balloon

"Oh I see...like the thing that...my son has." Yung nodded as he understood what Daylight meant. He playfully grabbed Daylight and pushed him into the squishy rubber balloon, making it creak

He laughed as he played and bounced on the balloon “I actually made some cupcakes and I thought you’d want some!” Daylight said with a smile, getting off the balloon and pulling out the small plastic bag in his backpack, inside the plastic bag were small pikachu and lucario cupcakes.

"You really have everything planned out to a T huh?" Yung winked. "Thank you...I appreciate it." He smiled as he slid so that he was sat on the edge of the balloon, watching Daylight with a sunny smile on his face. It had been a while since he was able to be playful like this.
