Tidestar pounced on the mouse and killed it with a swift bite to the neck. She buried the mouse and continued to try to find more prey.
Rubyglow walked into camp with her catch.

Thistlesilver approached a big twoleg fence. "Aah, here we are" she said smirking. Thornpaw and Fern jumped onto the fence. "Come on Brambletail, we have to make it to there camp by sundown." Brambletail followed the group.
Fern
Fern saw a she-cat perched on a nearby fence staring at them. "Hey Thistlesilver, we've got company." The patrol walked on the fence and stood in front of the new cat. "Who are you" Fern snarled at the she-cat.
Thornpaw
Thornpaw was worried. She knew her mentor and Thistlesilver were great fighters but what if no one joined and they have to fight? She was scared. She went through every lesson she had learned in fighting. But the thought did not console her.

Tidestar walked over to the middle of the camp and watched her clan.
Rubyglow went into the warrrior den.

"You don't have the courage." Fern snorted. She was hoping to get a reaction. "I'm a lot stronger then you." she said. "We're from. NightClan." ThistleSilver padded up to stand next to Fern. "I'm sure you've heard of us, we're the strongest clan in the Mountains. Certainly better then, whatever this is." Indicating with her tail at the twolegplace. " In fact we've come to recruit." Fern was surprised at how quick ThistleSilver got to her point.
Ash
She watched the strange cats pad up to delta. She saw a golden she-cat snarl at delta. "She's to weak to do anything about it." Ash said aloud. She blinked in surprise when she heard: "we've some to recruit." This was her chance! To join the strongest clan. She jumped from her hiding place and saw the surprised reactions of all five cats. "I'll join" Ash said immediately. "So will we." said two more voices coming from a cave nearby. "Amber? Umber? What are you doing? she asked. "We were napping in that cave when we heard them, pointing at Delta and the NightClan cats, and heard what you said and we mean it. We'll join too."

"I thought you might do that. That's why I brought backup." ThistleSilver let out a blood-curling shriek and cats appeared. "Thornpaw, thank you." ThistleSilver said. Looking at her friends apprentice. "Will you fight beside us?" she asked looking at Ash, Amber and Umber.
They answered in one word. "Always"

Ash jumped at Delta and raked her claws aross Delta's face. Amber and Umber bit down on Delta's legs. A blue and silver she-cat raced towards ThistleSilver. "Ash, stop." ThistleSilver stood up. The new she cat wrapped cobweb around the leg wound. "Ash, help your friends pin her." she said pointing at Delta. Ash, Amber and Umber pinned Delta so she couldn't move.

As Delta went limp the cats jumped back, so she could get up. She knew what she was doing, she couldn't let Delta die. So she let her get up. She turned around and say that 7 more NightClan cats had come, backing ThistleSilver.
