Booky followed Dory and together, they watched over the confused, lost, nervous, and wary Pokémon from the shadows above. Ink puddles, thick and black, were situated near the Pokemon and Dory and Booky knew that those weren’t just ink splotches, those were the Searchers. Dory had ordered them to wait for a while...and then strike...

Amber: *takes the ink bottle and leaves the room to look for drift*

Drift: *grumbles* I fu*king hate her... *flys around and looks for some spare parts in each room*

Dory snickered as she watched Drift find the spare parts. She wondered half-amusingly if he could hear her. Perhaps...

Amber: *keeps looking for drift* goddamn it drift where are you?

Drift: *hears somebody snickering and stops and looks around while finding the spare parts* who's there?! Show yourself!

Dory swooped down from her hiding spot in the darkness of the ceiling with the grace of her fluffy, angel-like wings. Booky remained hidden, out of sight and hid a mischievous, evil grin with his paw.
Dory giggled lightly again and said in a high-pitched, child-like voice, "Well well well...it's Drift! I see you don't like Alice very much, but don't worry! Neither she nor I will bite..." She laughed again, revealing her bright, shiny fangs. Both of her eyes had gradually turned from a bright red, the normal Chikorita eye color, to deep, gaping pools of black darkness with white shiny pupils. It almost seemed like thick, black ink had enveloped her eyes entirely making them voids of darkness. Her shadow aura had enveloped her whole body even more and then, she vanished completely when the lights flickered off for a moment.

Amber: *keeps looking for drift*

Drift: *looks around and looks at dory* you! I knew it! I didnt trust you not one damn bit!

The lights flickered rapidly again, almost angrily. "How rude!!" Dory cackled demonically again, "You seem to not understand where you are...how about I give a little hint, hm?" And with that, she summoned a swarm of Searchers from just one thick puddle of black ink on the floor that was left unnoticed before. She ordered them to surround her prey and devour it whole, but leave his petty, little friend to her. Dory nodded towards the ceiling, almost without a care in the world. Booky swung down from his perched position on the ceiling and landed with a thud behind Drift. He added, "And don't even think about escaping or calling out for help either...or the others of you will be eaten before you know it...and you wouldn't want innocent lives, dead, on your hands, now would you?"
Meanwhile, Dory sneaked quietly towards Amber.

Drift: *looks at booky and growls* you wont get away with this! *sees dory* hey dont you even think about hurting amber!

Booky sighed heavily, "Oh dear, it seems that our guest is being quite uncooperative..." With a last sigh from Booky and deep groans coming from the Searchers, the lights completely snapped out all together, plunging the hallway into darkness. The Searchers had already enveloped Drift's wings and pinned them down so that he couldn't fly away. Their ink clung mercilessly to his feet, then wings, then gradually extending upwards towards the rest of his body. Booky slipped away as quietly as a shadow and followed after Dory.

Dory silently watched Amber looking quickly around, lost and confused, and thought, Huh...looking for Drift I suppose...Well anyway, her ink WOULD be delicious...she definitely doesn't need it... She licked her fangs in anticipation and glided gently down behind Amber with her soft, delicate wings. She was careful not to make too much noise. With haste, she used her shadow Pokemon powers to envelop Amber's mouth in a dark, deep, murky substance that prevented her from speaking...or shouting out for help, of course! At the same time, she pinned Amber's paws to the floor with the same substance...it was sort of a mix of thick, murky ink and...shadowy haze?

Amber: m-mmmph????!!! *paws are pinned down and mouth is covered in ink*

Drift: *trys to fly away but cant cuz wings and feet are pinned down* hey why cant I fly off?! Let me go!
