Ok, so you know the quest Prof Rowan give you to raise a Pokemon a level higher than Prof Oak's one? I just started today, so I want to know whether there is a thing around here that counts how many levels Prof Oak's pokemon gets up to every hour?

Also, do I have a chance of winning since I just started today?

From what I remember, Oak's pokémon gain the same amount of levels every hour. If you check after exactly 1 hour, you can calculate for yourself how quickly (or slowly) they'll grow :)
