This takes place after everything with Thomas...
WCKD still holds onto the belief that some kids hold onto the vaccine to the airborne disease. They still have kids who have the immune and put them through a new maze, with new rules and new trial.
The earth is still in purl, as everyone tries to survive the Flare the airborne diseas that fights against humanity. And the cure becomes evermore needed in the new world.
[A month before this starts]
Angel sat in the chair where she knew that her mother had sat in before. "Are we ready?" she asked her assistance who nodded. "Angel, your mother tried this before. And you saw where it went. What do you think will be different." the assistance asked. Angel sighed, as she got up. Tapping on the pad it popped up the image of the newly built maze. "For starter. The glade isn't in the middle, second the exit is not has noticeable, and third there will be no young workers. All the kids have been put into a stasis pod for now. And lastly we built new creatures that will stimulate the infected. They will not remember anything that had happened in the past" Angel said, finishing at the last slide.
