Ruby nodded, slightly looking away. "That's pretty much the real reason I wanted to become part of the Elite 4... To show my parents how strong I am... So they won't have to worry." She lost her voice as a few tears were starting to run down her face. She never cried, not in front of X at least, or in front of anyone.

She was slowly calming the crying down. A bit later, she let go, feeling a lot better. Her face was a bit red though. "Thanks X." she muttered, shaking her head.
