~ The Summer Team Games ~

Hey sweaty trainers! ♥

As you may have heard, the first #TSTG will start soon, so better be quick and join here! Also share the hashtag #TSTG if you haven't done that yet ^^

#TSTG is a series of games where you show off your Trainer Skills to earn points for you and your team, trying to compete against multiple other teams! Teamwork will be important, but sometimes you'll have to manage things on your own depending on what the game is ^^

The rules of each game is announced on the day itself, probably not at midnight because that's too late for me (unless I make this a weekend thing, might be a good idea, we'll see) ^^

There are prizes, but unlike most other contests, you can buy your prize using TSTG Credits. These credits are earned through the games you play.

Earned TSTG Credits = P + T + G + S

Participation = 10
Team bonus, #1 = 100, #2 = 60, #3 = 30, #4 = 0
Game score, a score between 0 and 100, depends on the game
Speed bonus, a score between 0 and 30, depends on the game
This might change a bit

~ The Anti Team Rocket Password ~

Team rocket has been breaking in into our laboratories again! We urgently need a new password that definitely can't be cracked by Team Rocket, and I am sure we can do it with your help!
If each Summer Team creates 3 passwords which the other teams have to try and crack, I am sure we will find the best Anti Team Rocket Password!

The password must contain of 5 pokemon without repetition. For example, our last password was from our pyromaniac scientist of Kanto:

Please come up with a better password than this, okey? That'd be great!

So how will all this work?

Each team sets up 3 private trades to me with their Password, for the password you can only choose out of your team's buddies! Only the pokemon has to be correct, it does not have to be shiny / mega / event. This has to be done before Saturday!

So each team has to crack 3 passwords, one for each other team. Per password you have 14 guesses, one guess per team member (because there are 14 team members). This means each team member will have to guess maximum 3 times.
To guess the password you set up a private trade to me with as comment the team name your guess is for AND the order of the pokemon you offered. GTS randomizes the order so without the comment your guess is useless! Again, only the pokemon has to be correct, it does not have to be shiny / mega / event.
I will then reply how good your guess is by saying the number of pokemon that are correct and in the right place, and how many pokemon are correct but not in the right place. For example if you guess the pyromaniac's password with this combination:

I would reply 2 correct place, 1 wrong place.
Then it's your job to give this information to the others who still have to guess.
(maybe the group chat will be too messy for this, it's up to you how you share the information)

Long story short, this is basically MasterMind.

Here's a little illustration by Maniac if it is not clear yet.

Is there a Game Score for this event?

Yes, there is!
For each pokemon that is guessed correctly (pokemon & place) for the first time, you get 5 Game Score.

And what to do now?

To be able to guess you will need the pokemon of the other teams, so if you don't have some it might be a good idea to collect them!

Notes:

Please keep 2 pokemon from your team as spare, which you don't use for the passwords, in case the teams end up being uneven, these spares can be used to make the event fair for all teams.
As mentioned before, only the pokemon has to be correct, it does not have to be shiny / mega / event.
On top of that, guessing a legendary pokemon can be done using any renamed pokemon. If you want to guess Kyogre you just rename a pokemon to "Kyogre".

EDIT: (in case you don't want to read the full thing again to see what changed)

GTS randomizes pokemon, so you will have to write the order in the comment together with what team the guess is for.
You have to leave your guess on GTS until the game is over, I want to use GTS because good trainers should have the pkmn of their enemies to get to know their weaknesses!
Unlike event pokemon, Alolan pokemon are different than normal pokemon, you can't use Ninetales to guess Alolan Ninetales.

Some last ~~minute~~ 5 hours details.

Guessing is via private trade to me, a trade must include:

- The 5 pokemon you are guessing
- A comment structured like this:
[TEAM CODE] - [PKMN 1] - [PKMN 2] - [PKMN 3] - [PKMN 4] - [PKMN 5]

The TEAM CODEs are:
TSS for The Shade Seekers
ISFIC for I Scream For Ice Cream
DL for Dancing Llamas
SPC for Star Piece Crusaders

For example if your guess for Dancing Llamas is "togepi, salandit, haunter, wailord, cherubi" the comment should be like this:
DL - togepi - salandit - haunter - wailord - cherubi

All your guesses need to stay on GTS until the game is finished! This is because I don't want pokemon to be reused, trainers are expected to have the pkmn of their enemies ^^

~~Nothing happens if you do cancel, I keep track of the pkmn IDs, so I know when a pkmn is reused or not.~~

If two team members guess at the same time before getting any feedback you won't get to change your guess, this is pretty much losing a guess, make sure it doesn't happen!

Legendaries can be guessed using any pokemon that is renamed (The name has to be correct, K Y O G R E does not work)

GTS is used as your proof that you have the pokemon, I will not offer anything on the trades, so don't be afraid of using pokemon that you want to keep.

The Shade Seekers cracked ISFIC's pass in 7, DL's pass in 8 and SPC's pass in 8!

Dancing Llamas cracked TSS's pass in 6, ISFIC's pass in 9 and SPC's pass in 10!

I Scream For Ice Cream cracked TSS's pass in 9, DL's pass in 8 and SPC's pass in 11!

Star Piece Crusaders cracked TSS's pass in 7 but did not crack ISFIC's or DL's pass!

~~Still working on scoring system, score will given out soon-ish~~

~ The Hiker's Challenge ~

HI there Summer Teams! So I came across the Hiker over at the Game Center the other day and uhhh.. Well, we got in a little argument.. I basically said he was stealing ppl their game chips with his Higher or Lower game. It really is a scam if you ask me ^^
He actually told me that it's a quality game, that and his hard work he puts into it is what you pay for. Ridiculous! So he challenged me to make a better Higher or Lower game than his, so let's give it a shot!

Also unlike the Hiker, I actually am busy with stuff, which he is not, I am dealing with groups of people, which he is not, so yeahhh.. I am pretty much in a disadvantage.. but if I just make a Higher or Lower game where you don't have to pay anything and you can win prizes, I'll basically already be the winner ^^

So a Higher or Lower game, how hard can it be ^^

HoL Tournament, that sounds kinda fun, right? And hey, you guys are trainers with buddies, so lets get your buddy involved too ^^ Competition, always nice, less teammates and more competemates this time!

Ok, lets get to the point. You will give me 15 guesses of Higher (H) or Lower (L), all at the same time (via private palpad / PM). So your guess could look something like HHLHLLHLLLLHHHL. All you have to guess is if your buddy's level is higher than the level of your competemate's buddy. Your competemate is randomly chosen from one of the other teams and changes each round.

You start the game with 5 lives. If you win, you keep your lives and you advance to the next round. If you tie, you lose a life and you play again against the same person. If you lose, you lose a life and you play against someone else. A guess is only used once, after you win, lose or tie, your next guess is used.

You can send your guesses via private palpad / PM until next reset (thursday-friday). Friday the results will be calculated (and hopefully posted here too, otherwise it'll be posted over a week later as I'll be on vacation).

Your Game score is the round number you reached multiplied by 5.
Team ranking is the sum of the Game score of all team members.
There is no Speed Bonus.

If you run out of lives the game is over! Try and be the last one standing! :3

~ An Unknown Voice~

Hi Summer Teams, I am finally back from my trip! Sorry that it took so long, but I found a very interesting cave, full of weird characters on the walls! Sadly i didn't understand any of it :/ Maybe you guys can collect some data so we can figure out what it says, that'd be awesome! ^^

Goal

Collect as many Unown to make a single sentence per team that is as long, Scrabble-y and original as possible.

Rules

- The sentence has to be in English
- Unown ? and Unown ! can't be used, all punctuation doesn't count towards the length of your sentence.
- The sentence has to be made with Unown your team owns
- Only 3 Unown can be used with the same Origin. Trainer. The Origin. Trainer does not have to be one of your team members
- A single word can only be used twice
- One team member has to send a link to all the Unown used in the sentence
- At least three team members have to send the same sentence to me before a sentence is considered official

Scoring

You get points for
- longest sentence
- highest Scrabble score (see table below for letter scores)
- originality / best sentence
