Foreigners of the Ancient (Pokemon fiction)
Forum-Index → Fanmades → Fanfictions → Foreigners of the Ancient (Pokemon fiction)There are those who believe the ancient myth. A world of freedom and friendship where both Pokemons and Humans lived in peace, harmony. Where one would spend their lives trusting one another. But no one would be foolish enough to believe that crap. Not when Pokemons are being hunted, slaughtered, or just kept in captivity. The rarer it is, the higher it's sold for. Lugia, Reshiram, Mewtwo, you name them, legendaries were caught one by one and kept as trophies. And their protectors gone, who could protect the smaller ones? And that is how the world changed as we know it.
A circle of cloaked figures stand in a circle carved in blood. Each chanting differently, with what seemed for the untrained eye as nonsense. The stone walls pulsated in its own rythm, as if trembling. In the center stood an Gothita, levitating and twisting, ignoring all laws of physics. Then came silence as the Gothita started glowing a dark paled red. Growing an expanding, letting out a silent cry as it exploded in a white puff of smoke. And out of that came three eggs. An blue, red, green egg floated above the circle, in unison. Thunder crash in through the windows, wind and rain blowing through, breaking the circle. Rebounding, the curse targetted the lives of the casters, burying the small shack in piles of rumble. As the wind blew, a voice could be heard throughout the woods.
It shall be then, when white smoke rises, a contract shall bring the rise of what was once forgotten and a new unity. Three ancient powers awake, controled only by the ignorant.
Kyle ran under the cover of his jacket to the other side of the school, protecting his raven hair from the rain. Wiping his face, he took a glance at his shoes, an pain expression showing as he notices the mud of his white van. As he bend over to clean this unfixable mess, a grandfather clock rang from far away making his heart skip a beat as he took a sprint to his assigned classroom. Opening the door slightly, he crouched as he walked quietly to an empty desk imitating an ninja to the best of his ability, keeping his head low. Reaching the desk, he sat down on the chair before turning his attention on the teacher. Talking algebra, professor skunk-hair, as he’s lovingly called behind his back, narrowed his eyes focusing on his target.
« Mr. Newman, how nice of you to join us. » Folding his hand behind his back, he stood tall at the front of the class.
Kyle smiled, putting his bag down. « I strive to please. Shame your hair doesn’t have the same philosophy. »
Annoyed, the teacher sent him a warning glance before getting back to the board. Kyle sat back, satisfied. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw Josh holding his laugh behind his hand, while giving him an thumps up with the other. He shrugged while giving him the usual sign saying to meet him at his house after school. He had just gotten a new car, an standard model as it was, and he couldn’t wait to drive with his pal.
A chill ran up his back as a high pitch scream reverberated through the classroom, pulling him out of his daydreaming, his sense alert. In the middle of the class, floating above their teacher whose eyes were rolled back and had foam coming out of his mouth, was a gothita. An cute pokemon that girls would beg their parents to adopt, replacing the dool as number one seller in toy stores. This one however was pitch black, limbs brokens in ways that didn’t seem normal. Its mouth big open was fixing Kyle who was starting to sweat. His stomach throbbed as he clenched his teeth, knuckles red from tightening his grip on the desk. A hot pain then came going through every pore of his body, making his back arch back, his head facing the ceiling. The teacher started walking towards him, the students moving to the back of the class, some screaming and others calling for help.
“It shall be then, when white smoke rises, a contract shall bring the rise of what was once forgotten and a new unity.” The teacher said in a low voice that wasn’t his own, walking slowly. “Three ancient powers awake, controled only by the ignorant.” Reaching Kyle, he lifts his hand, bringing his fingers to Kyle’s sweating forehead. The young man raised his head, his eyes feverish as he watched his mentor touch his forehead before everything went black.
His eyes flickered, seeing a pale reddish light. His body was compressed together, rubbing on a hard surface that looked like it was surrounding him. Palping the wall around him, his breathing fasten has he realized he was stuck in a sort of membrane. Trying to hit and push at the sametime, he felt something break and his heart leapt with hope as he tried to pry the hole bigger. Punching right through the surface, a ray of light filled the dark space, blinding him momentarily.
Grunting, Kyle open his eyes, looking through the hole in the wall. The first thing he saw was a big tree blocking the whole view. Tugging on the rest of the wall, he trusted himself out with his greenish arms. Wait….. Green?!! Looking down on his body, he realized not only was he naked, his body was alien. A green kinda leaf was pressed around his neck and his red belly opposed his green arms that didn't have any fingers!! Taking some small unbalanced steps, his eyes wide and panicked, he moved away from his cage which he now realized was an egg!!
“No no no, this can’t be happening”
mumbling he backed up away from his egg and felt his back pressed against something hard, making his heart miss a beat. Gulping, Kyle looked behind him an saw another egg, this one glowing a pale blue color. On the right, an red egg glowed as Kyle tried to understand what kind of egg they were. Both bigger than him, Kyle looked back at his own egg which was green. Located in a open field, the three eggs were the only thing Kyle could see for a few miles. Glancing around him, he tried to call for help.
“Hello?!! Is there anyone here!! I...I don’t know what’s happening!!”
Kyle fought back tears as he tried to run with his little legs to the end of the field. A gunshot sounded from afar, which made him jumped, frightened. His body tensed as he listened closer to the ever growing noise coming from that direction. Leaves rustles as the wind picked up and blew a chill up his spine. He ran back behind the red egg, as a bad feeling took over him.
Branches crackled as steps could be heard coming out of the forest into the meadow.
[color=white]“We’re screwed Steve. We haven’t caught anything all day! If we don’t come back with something the chief will kill us!!”
The rugged voice hurt Kyle’s ears as he hid behind the red egg.
“Oh shut your whining. Have we ever come back empty handed? No.”
The smaller of the two raised his hand and open his mouth as if to say something.
“Don’t you dare say Panola. That one didn’t count and you know it. » Steve grummeled cutting off the other man. « Wait! Isn’t that a pair of eggs over there?!! »
Kyle’s heart froze as he heard the duo run in his direction. Crawling behind a rock, he stood perfectly still, waiting to see what they were going to do.
« Looks like we’re in luck Grob, those two eggs are sure to please the chief. »
Some rustling could be heard as they picked the eggs up.
« Look at that Steve, there was 3 eggs but one hatched! Where did you think it ran to? »
Kyle closed his eyes, scared to even move.
« Who cares, we can come back later for it, but let’s go back and complete the objective for the day. »
They started walking away from Kyle’s hidding spot.
« Grob! Look at your egg!! It’s moving around!! »
Gasping, Kyle peeked over the rock trying to get a view on what was happening. The egg that Grob was holding was standing perfectly still as Grob stared at Kyle, his shark tooths lined up in a perfect grin.
« Well hello there. »
Kyle jumped up his heart beating out of his chest as a dark veil filled his field of vision.
« I got it Grob! The chief will be so please with us!! »
Kyle started fighting with the bag, tugging on the thin tissue, but it wouldn’t break. As the man that carried the bag started heading back to their car, the bag swayed and Kyle was fighting for his freedom. But as Steve threw him into the trunk, Kyle hit his head on the dash and he lost consciousness yet again.
