HARE vs. TORTOISE

(The splatfest will be happening at real time so get ready for the weekend!)

Riley walked around the square. She had her Octoshot replica in her hand. She was hoping to accendently bump into somebody and start a conversation. AJ walked out of Grizz Co. he wiped his hand over his forehead. ”Man, those glowflies were swarming all over me the whole time!

(Sorry if it’s confusing but my charcater’s colors will change with there ink. I’ll put at the bottom witch colors go with each character.)

AJ = Orange

Riley = HotPink

Rome tripped over her own feet as she hurried into the square, slinging her charger over her shoulder as she did so. She’d visited Sheldon the previous day to ask for help and tips when it came to polishing her weapon, so it was cleaner than usual today.

Maybe Grizzco? She mused to herself. The shifts were tedious, but it was a really good way to meet new people. Squids. Octos. Whatever.

She narrowly avoided bumping into Riley, holding up her hands quickly in apology.

Chrysa was in front of the Crust Bucket, purchasing some Deep-Fried Shwaffles. She drooled as she walked off with the meal in hand. She sat herself down on a bench then unwrapped the deep-fried snack. Chrysa ate the meal happily.
Man, this tastes great~ Mad respect to that prawn, she hummed a small tune. There should be an announcement soon, right?

(Oh, by the way, I've only played the original Splatoon. So if I'm confused by somethings, sorry about that. I really am.)

Smiling Riley looks back. Gosh dangit! She thought to herself walking to the splatfest terminal to pick a side. AJ went to the side thing to get a bonus. 4,000 gold. Worth it, one day I’ll get that piece of clothing. He thought taking his bonus and heading out to see Murch, he had already got his splatfest tee. He was on team knights!

He had the tee filled with ink recovery up abilities but the last ability was run speed up. He was trying to make this gear all ink recovery up so he needed to scrub it. He got it scrubbed quickly and and then walked away to sit at a bench, table whatever and sat down. He gazed at the stage all set up in it’s full glory.

(I’ve only played Splatoon 2 xD)

Hmm... Wizards or knights? Wizards definitely. Sorry Pearl! Amia would have her splat brella out, protecting her from the burning sun. It was randomly really hot for her. Totally not because she was wearing her witch robes. Totally.
Now... Turf war, or Salmon Run? Should I Put My Splat-fest tee on?

Riley also had chosen wizards. She thought it would be cool to wear long flowing clothes and cast magical spells. She was new to inkopilis, still a little shaken by defeating Comander Tartar. (The octo expansion’s finale boss. He flipping tryings to destroy all life!) AJ looks bald at Grizz Co. ”Anouther round wouldn’t hurt would it?”

AJ shifts side to side. Talking isn’t his strong suit but it’s better to talk then to have silence. ”I hope at some time I get the scope. I can take Steelheads down so easily with it! Also for the mystery weapon if I get it I hope it’s not the Grizz Co. slosher. That thing is pain!” He wailed.

Witches or Knights..? Sorry, Marina. She hummed as she selected ‘Knights’, accepting the tee, though she didn’t bother putting it on. She frowned, glancing around the square. A run of turf war wouldn’t be so bad, right? But at the same time, Grizzco..

She let the frown wash into a smile as she entered Grizzco signing her name quickly before making her way over to where the other two were sitting and lifted her hand in quick and friendly greeting.

AJ nodded a greetings. Riley was now looking around for a ticket for Crusty Shawn’s. She never had luck getting one herself. She probly forgot about it 2 seconds later and thought about wearing her splatfest tee.

Chrysa picked herself up from the bench, placing the wrapper into her jacket pocket. Upon seeing several inklings and octarians walk by with Splatfest shirts, she quickly stepped in line to choose her team.
"Knights... Vs Witches," she said aloud, looking at the screens. "I'm going to jump off a limb and assume Pearl said 'Knights.'" Chrysa commented. Feeling the pressure of others wanting to choose their teams asap.
Chrysa actually knew what team she was joining.
"To death with chivalry," Chrysa tapped on the 'Witches' icon and received a tee for her team.

Harri would return back from octo canyon, Her roller in hand. There were some octarians running around in moray towers, and moray heights. She decided not to choose a splatfest team, as marie and callie would be arguing about which team she chose.

Amia would reply back " Eh. Im fine with the slosher, The only thing im bad at in my opinion, is splatlings and blasters. "

AJ smiles. ”I’m cool with every slosher except the Grizz Co. Slosher. It’s only because one fling takes 1/4 of your ink! Fling ink out of the bucket 4 times and you have to refill!”

Splatterscope? Rome turned her head quickly, spotting the list of current weapons. Sure enough, her main was right there, front of the list. And.. Oh, no. Close range weapons. Sure, she could use dualies with ease, but with those it was plenty easy to escape. With these ones.. She was terrible with brellas. So, she would just have to hope she didn’t get that one during the final wave.

”I’m Rome,” She introduced herself quickly with a smile. ”.. Are we talking about weapons we’re good at?” Her voice was a little scratchy.
