In the Toror realm, you are destined to become either a Warrior, Mage, or Healer. Upon turning sixteen, a child will receive their mark, branded onto their left bicep. It’ll burn, and that’ll be when they know they’ve finally been sorted. Their role is not genetic, but random. It cannot be predetermined, and cannot be changed. Warriors are physically stronger, whilst mages are stronger mentally. Warriors are not capable of performing magic, just like mages are naturally horrendous at hand-to-hand combat. Healers are somewhat considered to be an ‘all-rounded’ type as they are able to cast healing spells and craft potions (not necessarily with the purpose of healing).

There are numerous areas in Toror. The
town, located in the center of the mainland. It hasn’t always been
here but it had to be rebuilt after a rebellion. The site of, now
Old Toror, is delicate ruins. Some believe that treasure still
remains there but has never been found. Farming fields and orchards
are located just east and west of the town. There is a freshwater
lake in the north-east which is often used as a fishing spot, and
the forests north of Toror, grow slightly more exotic plants, but
are more difficult to harvest. Beyond the forests are the hills.
The strong winds here make it one of the most favoured places to
train. Finally, south of Toror is the quarry where most of the
town’s resources come from. These are the safest places of the
realm.
‘Humans’ are not the only creatures to roam Toror - mythical creatures also roam freely. Those in the forest are generally friendly and harmless. Fairies, unicorns, kitsunes, and fauns are just some examples.
In the west, beyond the fields, a large mountain can be located. Travel through the mountain and you will enter the Griffin’s Range. They’re extremely hostile, each with a snobbish personality, it’s incredibly difficult to gain their trust. If you can make it past the Griffin’s Range, you’ll then be greeted by a large mesa. At the very top of the structure is where dragons make their nests. But, like griffins, they are also hostile and territorial of their nests. Wyvern’s isle and Phoenix Plumes used to be apart of the western wing but eventually broke off over centuries. Wyvern’s Isle is a collection of smaller mesas. But forget trying to tame a wyvern. They are smaller, but much faster dragons, and are debatably more aggressive. Egg stealing is the way to go. Phoenixes, on the other hand, reside on the active volcanic islet. They are extremely rare to come across, deciding to travel to the island is a reckless decision in itself.
In the east, just behind the lake is a cave named Mantle Drop. It’s a steep path and gets hotter the deeper you get. Hellhounds have made it their home at the very pit. Meanwhile, the Basilisk Ravine has kept the snake-like creatures contained. You’re safe as long as you don’t fall in. If you’re lucky enough to tame a creature, they are called mounts. You, first, will need to get the King’s permission in order to attempt to tame one, and you may only have a maximum of one.

War is coming, and you have been appointed into the Toror Army. With only a meer month left to train you should try to make the most of your time. Meet in the main hall of the castle by noon to confirm your place.
