The mayor started glowing golden:

The mayor exploded, freeing Moose. A kid version of the mayor was on the ground.

Ruby: Ruby used to stop the blow by using Twilight Revolution, but the mayor easily overpower her due to how much magic he absorbed. Ruby was sent flying again.
