Hey guys!

I wanted to suggest an idea of mine I had when I was playing Pokémon GO.
Everybody who plays Pokémon GO at the moment knows that you can set one Pokémon as your "Partner" to collect the type of candy the Pokémon needs to power up and evolve.

My idea is about to have kind of partner Pokémon in PH too but in a slightly different way.

How about raising a Pokémon's EXP by interacting with other Pokémon?
It shouldn't bee too easy, so I thought about kinda "random multiplier" like the one you have with PD and GGC while interacting at the moment. This could be like 1-10 EXP per Interaction or 1-100 EXP for every 100 interactions.

But that wasn't everything.

In PH we have key-items. I was thinking about a key item which gives the possibility to have a Pokémon as your partner which can be obtained through the item-shop in the Emera Mall. If you like the idea, you could reply to my post with a suggestion for a price. (like a leash for example)

The maximum amount of Pokémon to have as Partner should be the same as in Pokémon GO, which is exactly one Pokémon.

Also the Pokémon could be shown next to the chosen Starter at the Game-Records in the User-Profile.

The possibility to have a Pokémon in the Daycare too while its a partner should'nt be given! Obviously because the Pokémon is at the daycare and not with you (...I'm wondering why Pokémon which are left at the Daycare can be put into the party...).

There could also be the Possibility that your Pokémon finds items like Berries or evo stones while its your partner.
I also thought about some kind of mini-game like "seek and hide". So it feels like your actually playing with this Pokémon. How about more mini-games than one? The kind of what mini-game is to do with a Pokémon could be decided through its Nature or type. (This could be a way to get items from your partner!)

I'm a huge fan of statistics and records, thats why I think every Pokémon should show how many clicks you've made with it.

Another feature could be the "Partner"-Tab, where you can look up statistics.

Also your Pokémon should get exhausted over time (... by "too much" interacting), so it stops earning EXP through interacting for an hour/day which I think is an good idea to make people switch their partners.

Social parts could also be integrated, like Pokémon meeting the Partner of Trainers you have interacted with and give them items and stuff too (so other users also get benefits from your interactions).

Do you like my ideas? Let me know!
Thank you for reading ^-^

i like the idea that a partner pkmn will gain a bonus ehp everyime u interact~
(specially im looking for one also that fits or complement my pesonality n i find adorable)

just one add-on is that there should be a time limit if ever u set a pkmn to be ur partner (similar to whenever u change ur username here (with the condition that the item u need to turn a pkmn to be ur partner is easy to find))~ maybe 3 months, 6 or a year (even if that pkmn is released)~ this way, users will not abuse by setting a new pkmn they adopted as their partner in order to reach a cetain lvl (eg for it to evolve) n de-partnering them when it is done~

maybe 10-30 minutes or so, depending on how "exhausted" the Pokémon is.
Because I think having 1 Pokémon in there forever is a bit "boring"

If you haven't read the part about Pokémon getting exhausted:

oh~ but if that is the case since in every interaction, a partner can get 1-10 exp then in average a pkmn can get 6 exp per interaction~ and if we assume that a user can do 1000 interactions in every 10 minutes, then his partner can get 6000 exp (per hour until he become exhausted)~ 6k exp is a big boost for a pkmn to lvl up~

Moreover, (in my opinion) i think the idea of a pkmn to be exhausted, then just after he recover n receive exp will get exhausted, and so on seems a bit "brutal"~ besides, a partner is someone whom ur comitted to be ur lifelong (or just a long time) friend, not just someone whom u can replace every 10-30 minutes~ :)

Nevertheless its all up to u~ :)

While the idea seems interesting... Why?

If a pokemon need exp to level, leave it in your party while you interact.

Minigames for the partner pokemon - what sort of mini games? That's not explained very well.

Statistics are nice, totally agree there. We do already have a page for that though!

Exhaustion? Why? I'm seriously asking why I should ever have to change my partner. Or have negative effects for using the same one all the time. I'd think the opposite would be true.

I am a mobile only player.

But opinions can change over time, what if the Pokémon you've picked isn't your favorite anymore?

It's a side-effect like in the daycare. It should highlight the Pokémon in a small way.

I know it's not explained very well, but I don't wanted to profess everything... also I only had the idea for some kind of "hide and seek" game. Suggest another idea if you want to.

So, I´m with Fomantis ^^
At least, the way I see it, a partner should be _the_ Pokemon, that is special to you!
And that´s while I think, this would be a real fun idea, I don´t think you should be able to change your partner.
You should have to really think about setting _that_ one Pokemon your Partner :3

I get your point and I like the idea too. But what if you accidently set the wrong one as your partner? Or too early in the game when you don't even know which Pokémon exist or so...

Its a bit odd to me to just drop something because its no longer a favourite.

I support this idea and would want to see it implemented tbh :)

Of the partner issue, I'd prefer to be able to change your partner. At least for me I'd already have had multiple favourite pokemon, and else Id have been stuck with just the first pokemon as I didnt know which pokemon Id get later on on this site (for example Shiny Xerneas and so). Also if the minigames were different for each type and you wouldnt be able to change your partner, you'd never be able to play the other minigames.

@Colgari: if the minigames and the finding items part is more thought out, I think it'll be a great suggestion ^^

Other suggestion maybe is of adding an energy bar to limit the benefits/minigames thing (as the exhaustion thing). And other one is to add a level progress thingy so you have benefits the longer you have the same poke as your favourite, the more that benefits you (like the DP level bar or the Halloween Candy bar).

PS: Maybe later ill update this more with more ideas to improve this suggestion :3
