I received my first newbie and proceeded to the mentor program page that gave me task 1 to send them a PM so I did.

A short time later I received notification of another newbie. I accepted and knowing that step 1 was send a PM I sent it before going to the MP page where it had not registered the first PM I sent so had to send another.

Is this worth noting?

Also, I have more questions about this new program - how many newbies can you get (I've only had the 2), what happens if the get to a point in the tutorial and leave does that affect others tasks (both newbies have not been on since their day of registering), what triggers more tasks? - I've not seen a FAQ for this yet but would love to know more about it.

In order for the PM to count you have to send it after you accept the request on the Mentor Page (When the green bubble appears asking you to do so.) Any PM before that one won't count!

How many newbies can you get (I've only had the 2)
As of now, there isn't a limit of how many you can mentor at the same time, as there are many mentors out there, you won't get that many request followed, though! So that's pretty much your decision on how many you want to have at a time.

What triggers more tasks?
After you receive at least one reply on the welcoming/first message, you'll get more task to get more Mentor Points.
Also I'd like to point out that in order to the points to go up on the conversation task, they would need to keep answering! If you spam them with message, it won't go up.

Thank you -Max for the information. I think it is a great concept and I hope it is at least somewhat beneficial for the new players. I've yet to get a reply from any of my newbies but at least one of them has completed the tutorial.
