A new journey
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → A new journeyBoris couldn't move out of the way fast enough and was hit with the water gun. "Boris, use defense curl!" Elijah ordered worriedly. Boris curled around himself for a moment and uncurled, now on the defensive.
"Alright, Oshawott use a taunt!" Austin called out hoping to get Boris into attacking only. "Keep on your guard though."

Nami was hit by the static shock, but didn't show any signs of being annoyed or hurt that badly by it. She laughed in amusement and nudged the Mareep. "Hi, I'm Nami!" She said cheerfully.
"Thanks, my dad gave her to me when I was five." Scar said with a smile and chuckled in amusement. "I'm Scarlett, but my friends call me Scar, the Wartortle is Nami. She's my best friend and starter." She explained kindly.
“Your dad sounds like a fun guy,” Apollo mused. “Scarlett is a pretty name, but so is Scar. I think it fits you.” He grinned widely, reaching up to tug on his backpack strap. “Where are you from? Are you from Hoenn?”
Scar smiled and giggled in slight amusement. "Ah thanks, Apollo is an awesome name too. Sounds very strong and fits you." She commented kindly. "Yeah, my dad is pretty nice. He and my mom moved to Hoenn a few years before me and my sister, Deirdre, were born." She explained kindly. "So, yeah, I'm from Hoenn. Lillycove is actually my home town."
Apollo grinned. “Thanks. I’m working on the ‘strong’ part.” He said cheerfully before nodding. “So far, I think Hoenn is nice. Oh, you have a sister? That’s cool! You live here? Man, you’re pretty lucky. It looks pretty peaceful here! My dad sent me here from Alola to stay with cousins while they finished unpacking because I kept getting in the way and bugging them.” He grinned.
"Yeah, I live here. Grew up fishing and collecting gemstones for my necklace." Scar said cheerfully. "You were bugging them? Not sure why I don't believe that." She giggled.
“Oh, gemstones?” Apollo arched his eyes brows curiously. “You collect gemstones? That’s pretty cool! Can I see them?” He grinned and reached up to flip his hair back playfully. “Oh, you know it, Blue. They gave me a plane ticket and told me to ‘go on a journey outside of Alola, Apollo!’.” He said, deepening his voice slightly in an attempt to mimic the voice of his father.
Scar laughed in amusement and nodded. She took her bracelet off and handed it to Apollo. She hoped he wouldn't recognize the red soul dew. "My favorite is the lapis that I found in Mossdeep." She explained kindly. "Oh your dad would get along with mine." She giggled. "I used to annoy him with my shyness he. It was so bad that he pushed me into soft ball." She said with a grin.
Apollo accepted the bracelet and held it up curiously, admiring the gems. “Wow, they’re really pretty!” He said honestly, not at all able to tell the difference between the red soul dew and the other gems. He was just sorta oblivious like that. “Lapis is a nice color.” He agreed, finally spotting said gem. He handed it back to Scar carefully. “Pfft, softball? My dad tried to do the same for me. Did you like it? Are you still doing it?” He grinned. “Maybe.. Maybe we have the same dad!” He gasped dramatically, clutching his chest for extra effect.
Scar took the bracelet back and put it on her wrist. "Maybe." She laughed and shook her head in amusement. "No I'm not anymore. I promised my dad that I'd start a Pokemon journey so I could get out of it."
“Mhm,” Apollo nodded wisely. “Smart move. At least now you can choose what days you go out on without your dad knowing,” He grinned, tucking his hands into his pockets as he spoke. “Have you started your journey yet?”
"Today is my first day on my journey." Scar explained kindly and smiled. "So yeah I guess I can pick and choose what day's I go out."
“Ah, lucky you.” Apollo grinned widely as he reached up to push his hair out of his eyes. “Any plans for your new journey?”
"Not really. I might see if my friend, Austin is in town. Snow said he was coming from Unova." Scar said politely. "Other than that, I'm gonna try and get the badges."
