Melody was quickly running toward Volara High School believing she
was late and fretting over it. "Oh, Arceus please don't tell me I'm
going to be expelled the first day because I'm late!" She squeaked
as she sped forward, a broken doll in her arms and a large duffle
bag strapped to her back. A few minutes later another squeak was
heard from her as she tripped over the steps leading up to the
front door of the building, scraping her nose a bit on one of the
remaining steps, before she went inside and looked around. She saw
someone hurry away before being intercepted by another woman.
"Alright so follow hurry person thrown out the window..maybe?" She
mumbled before she started to edge closer hoping to find out where
the dorms were.
Draco filled his tray up the brim with lots of food and sat down at
a table by himself. He took his phone out and started
typing/texting some things while eating.
Then Reina answered as well, "Oh as a heads up your dorm is right
next door to my dorm, depending on where the dorm is", Reina then
waited to see if the Mareanie will answer her question if the
Mareanie needs some assistance.
Melody jumped slightly and squeaked a bit in fright, which was a
bit ironic since she's a ghost type, before sighing at what the
other girl, Priscilla, said. "So I'm not late? Thank goodness that
means I won't be expelled." She said with a happy sigh.
Reina nodded, and looked at Priscilla and soon said to Priscilla,
"Hopefully you will sign up for the gardening club or join the
volleyball team if it's going to happen", Reina said.
Marian had his eyes set forward and head bowed low and he shuffled
through the halls. However, a voice pulled him out of his own mind,
bringing him back to reality. "Eh?" he sputtered as he looked up.
Her deep blue hair came into vision and he shrunk back a bit, his
shyness surfacing. "Oh-- uh, the-- the dorms, yeah. I was...
looking for those... Yes." His mind scrambled as he looked for the
words, and he suddenly remembered that he'd asked her a question.
Marian looked down at his luggage and then back up at her. "Oh...
uh-- yes. Yes, I'd love some help actually, if that's not too much
trouble." He mustered a smile in return to hers, but he was sure to
her it must've looked more like a grimace. Marian slowly held out
one of his bags for her to take.
"Gee, if people got expelled just because they were late, I think
by now I would not be allowed back in any school!" Priscilla
chuckled. "I'm Priscilla. I'm known as a popular, but I swear I'm
good." She explained.
Melody quietly giggled. "I'm Melody. Not sure where I fit in but I
try to be good as well." She said holding her hand out for
Priscilla to shake after she shifted her broken doll around in her
arms.
So Reina grabbed the Mareanie's luggage, and Reina said, "I will
take you to the dorm, they will usually have a nameplate at the
front door", Reina showed the Mareanie the dorm which is northeast
of the hallway, and soon she placed the luggage that belonged to
the Mareanie at the door of the dorm that the Mareanie will stay.
Then Reina said, "I think we made it, welcome to the dorm, you will
be right beside the gentleman named Draco for the dorm, if there's
any concerns please let me know".
Marian followed at her side, silent but grateful for her help. He
wasn't the best conversationalist, after all. Upon their arrival he
scrambled for his luggage and bowed low. "Thank you so much!" he
sputtered out, looking up at her through his curtains of hair. "I
really appreciate it-- hah... I probably would've gotten lost if it
weren't for you." He played with a loose strand of fabric on his
sweater, having a hard time meeting her gaze. "Uh, I'm Marian by
the way. Uh--" he swallowed around a lump in his throat. "What's...
your name?" He awkwardly held out a hand. "This is how people
introduce themselves, right?" Marian thought to himself.
"That sounds awesome." Melody replied with a grin. "Do you know the
way to it? I'm a bit lost when it comes to where everything is."
She admitted sheepishly.
Reina looked at the Mareanie, "The name's Reina, I am very
fortunate to meet you in person", then Reina said, "If you are
interested in joining clubs there will be sign-ups starting
sometime soon".
"I'll show you the way." She said, leading her towards the
cafeteria. "Where do you want to sit?" Priscilla asks, looking
around the cafeteria. She wanted at Draco's empty table, but she
also wanted Melody to decide.
