As I'm sure many of you know, Pokeheroes has a problem with drama. It has been like this for a while now, with users posting controversial content, whether on accident or on purpose. Many people have pondered what the solution to this should be. Stricter rules? Harsher punishments? More moderators? god I hope not However, I have an easy solution that should solve this problem: a one-day, yearly, sitewide Purge. On this day, there are no rules. The moderators and staff can't do anything. You can post whatever content you want, you can break any rule. You can do anything you want. I feel like a date for this sitewide Purge should be held every year on July 7. By having a day with no rules, this should entice users to cause drama on this one day in particular, rather than cause it on any normal day. As a counterbalance to this, we could have what I stated before, stricter rules and harsher punishments. You may think this is an insane suggestion, but it may just work.

No support.

I find it hard to believe that users would want to meticulously calculate their rule-breaking behaviours/posting on a single day of the year instead of, well, any other day of the year.

If they're committed to acting in a negative manner against established rules, why follow the rule of breaking all rules on a specific day?

[A serious answer for a "funny suggestion".]

Neutral.
While this would help to stop drama and controversial thigns on other days, it could backfire and actually make something worse. What if someone has a hack for PD and publishes it? What if someone accesses the administrative system, and do something bad that day? It is not rule breaking, in that case.
There are solid arguments that supports both sides.

Not going to spend much time in explaining myself when I keep my argument short: If you guys (adressing everyone who seems to be involved in past drama or, simply gets back to it over and over again and no one specificly) would simply start to pull yourselves together and not start any drama at all, we´d be perfectly fine. Your "idea" won´t change anything about that. This more looks like some sort of "we want a day to do whatever we want because we cannot pull ourselves together" thing and that´s all I´m gonna say about it here.

Just because some special users aren't able to accept some simple rules here and always trying to start drama, they shouldn't get a special day for this to do. Life isn't always a bowl of cherries, not in real life nor online.
Also..everything that was said by Argentis and Katakuri.

Maybe because you've stated that this was meant to be serious twice
And neither of them said anything about having a life in their posts? But if that's a reason not to post, don't worry, I don't have a life at the moment.

Anyway, this suggestion, serious or joke, will not be implemented. As was stated before, there shouldn't be a special day for our users to be allowed to break the rules. What if they only break the rules that one day, but the way they break the rule(s) have far reaching consequences?
Also, if you're basing this suggestion on the premise of the movie with the same name, your premise is wrong. In the movie they themselves admit that "one day of crime" isn't serving its purpose, so applying this exact same principle somewhere else, is not gonna work out either.
