I talked to midnight-fall and they said that the skrelp hunt is full.
She also said that it may confuse people since it says that it's still open.
Edit:Me an midnight-fall are siblings, plus her noibat hunt is taking a while to hatch another shiny due to the many requests for one oof. Imma help her in anyway I can so she can finish the hunt.

Oh yeah, that is her hunt. I was looking at who is in the slots, sorry! @RAZPberry, it is best to try and order when the hunt is first announced. Try again next time! Sorry you couldn't order either.

On the first post, you'll fine the guidelines for becomeing a breeder and to adopt shinies, along with the rules (which you MUST read to become a breeder) and the current hunts, as Well as the slots open for them.
