Petals For A Soul [Roleplay]
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Petals For A Soul [Roleplay]As you come to, you find yourself standing in a field. In front of you is a castle-like building, full of towers and stained glass windows. The structure's grand double doors are thrown wide open, laughter and chatter floating out from the slightly intimidating structure. Above the entrance are words carved into the stone, cracked a little from age. They simply read "Where every flower finds their home."
You may begin when ready.

Have a wonderful day y’all, you deserve it :)
This curiosity and apparent tunnel vision had its downsides as well, however, and the lad found himself almost walking straight into the back of someone else while he was busy directing his attention to the entrance, peering up at the words carved above it and mouthing them silently to himself. Lucky for the potential roadblock, Colt managed to register other people exist just in time to come to an abrupt stop to prevent himself from colliding to the other person in his haste. Sidestepping, Colt came up around side-by-side the other person as he proceeded forward with his quick steps and gave the stranger a light chuckle, "Ah, sorry, didn't see you there."
"This is true. But don't worry so much. Seriously, don't. You'll get wrinkles," Quinn replied, fixing the bracelets on her wrist that didn't need to be fixed. Felix gave her A Look as they neared the doors. She shrugged. "Lixie, it'll be fine. Elin never likes people and he's survived so far. And, trust me, you'll win all of them over with your stunning personality. Or, well. Maybe not. Actually, I'd personally choose to flaunt your face instead, that's much more likeable."
Was this some kind of joke to him? Annoying others? Ethan thought to himself. Some people...
Ethan looked towards the source of his irritation, who was standing right next to him, "It would be in your best of interests to watch where you're going next time. Got it?" Ethan was not in the mood to be dealing with others right now, least of all this guy. Ethan thought it would be best to set the record straight from the beginning and warn this guy that Ethan was not going to be socialising with him, now, or ever.
Passing a few other people, he reached the entrance and let his gaze stroll around until he got fixated on a few old-looking letters. "Where every flower finds their home."
He chuckled quietly. That sounds fun.
Carefully opening the door, he looked around. A huge, almost empty hallway opened up before him. He found two people standing there, right in front of him. They seemed like they just had a conversation. A glimpse of their last word still echoed throughout the hall; -keable.
He didn't bother asking what they were talking about, he didn't bother asking who they were or if they knew what to do. He just stepped in, eyed them from head to toe and the first thing he noticed were the matching bracelets.
A condescending smile sneaked onto his face. "Aren't matching bracelets like that a little childish?"
Quinn cleared her throat and put a hand on his shoulder, as if restraining a dog that was about to leap at someone. It worked partly - Felix relaxed a little, though he still looked irritated. "Now, now, that's not a very good first impression, is it? Besides, we're all still children at heart." She flashed the most dazzling smile she could muster at that moment.
Colt's smile wavers as he stops for a moment to regard the other boy and his sour disposition, a small frown worming onto his face for just a moment. Well, this started out great, is the first thought to pop up in Colt's head along with a pang of confusion. The green-haired guy was talking as if he had just accidentally stepped on his dog's tail or something. Sheesh. He's not that bad, right?
Though, on second thought, it was understandably a stressful situation, perhaps the greenie deserved the benefit of the doubt for now.
Quickly putting a grin back onto his face, Colt continued forward while simultaneously turning around to face the other guy, effectively walking backwards for a couple of strides as he pointed a pair of finger guns back towards Mr. Gruff, uttering out a brief reply: "Sure thing, thanks for the tip." However, ironically, he had already failed to follow the tip as those words left his mouth since he didn't have eyes at the back of his head to watch where he was going. Fortunately, there was no more sour fellows on his path for those few steps he took forward blind and after saying his piece, Colt spun back around to face where he was going. Upon doing so he could spot a couple of people just by the doorway.
Good. Perhaps there's a greeting committee around to tell them what the heck they're supposed to be doing here exactly...
"Might be, but I'm not here to make a good impression, I'm here because I am curious by nature - pun not intended."
With a shrug he acknowledged her second argument before making a thoughtful expression. "My name's Doyle, by the way. Sorry for the bad first impression", he said quietly. "I didn't mean to come off as rude."
Which may or may not have been a lie. He couldn't care less about these people's feelings unless they could benefit him.
He heard a loud knock on the already open door and turned around to face the person who just knocked.
//ooc// just to clarify, i am talking about Katie in that last sentence
