Aka
Aka woke up to a loud noise downstairs. This startled him because he lives in an abandoned building with his friend Hailee. There shouldn't be anyone down stairs. He tapped Hailed on the shoulder, waking her up. "Hailed, someone's here. Find your frogs. Ill ready up my water guns" they then heard a voice.
Hailee
Hailee was in the middle of a dream. A dream of what the world would be like if aabilities didn't exist. She then felt a cold hand touch her shoulder. Waking up she heard that someone was there. "I'll summon them." She then closed her eyes and called out to all the frogs. They emerged under d furniture and clothing. She always keeps them near in case something like this happens.
"Go, go, go!!! You can do it!! You're almost there!!" Terissa strains her abdomen pulling her arms forward, skimming the water surface as she executes the crawl in the local swimming pool. She reaches forward hitting the wall with her right hand as her friend Shelsea clicks the timer. "Wow!! That's impressive!! 2 laps in 20 seconds!! That's gotta be a record or something." Terissa lifts her google off of her eyes and takes her cap off. Passing her fingers through her wet hair she smiles at Shelsea, puffing her cheeks to make her look exhausted.
Lifting herself out of the water, she breath in and out loudly. "How can u do this? You should be in the olympics!!" Shelsea aks in admiration bringing a towel over. "You know I'm great in sports." And I wasn't even giving it my all, she though, wiping her hair with the towel. "Well yeah, but that doesn't explain why you can do 2 laps in under 20 seconds!!" Terissa shrugs and walks out towards the lockers.
The sound in the house was Junior.
That’s it. Nothing fancy.
He’d spotted the house and made a beeline for it, because yeah, it looked abandoned. How would live in an abandoned house? Apparently he’d been dead wrong, because now he could hear faint voices.
Blinking rapidly he used his powers to turn invisible and press himself against the wall.
Aka
Aka looked over at Hailee with a questionable look. He later had to work to signal that he was ready to go downstairs and check it out. she nodded back so they went downstairs with their powers fully charged. Aka's hands had already formed ice daggers, which he would throw at them if it was another attack.
Hailee
When they got downstairs, hailee sent her frogs to look around. One hopped on something close to the wall, and seemed to be levitating off the floor. "Is that glass? Or..." She whispered to Aka, unsure of what was going on
Junior
—
The boy swatted the frog off, covering his mouth with his other hand because oh no what if they were going to kill him for his powers? He took a large step away from the frog, staring at it with wide eyes as he did his best to remain quiet. The floor crawled under his step and he bit his tongue.
—
Junior gasped, officially drenched in water. His concentration wavered and his invisibility broke, revealing him to the other two. “Watch it!” He snapped, before freezing in fear and snatching up his pocket knife, holding it in front of himself anxiously.
—
“Rresistance? That’s a thing?!” Brown eyes blown wide, Junior turned his eyes toward Aka. “Really? N-no, I’m not part of it. But I’d like to be! Are you?”
Celeste
—
Celeste was bored.
Everyone with Aabilities has probably gone into hiding, so there wasn’t much to do. Other than lounge around and wait for her brother to come back from wherever he was. Where has he gone anyway? She hadn’t exactly cared enough to ask. Oh well.
"Yeah it's a thing, we try to keep it on the down low, how do we know you aren't an AAbilitoria member?" Aka asked, looking at him
Cereb
With the AAbility tied up and in a tizzy, he figured he should call his sister, "Celeste, where are you? I thought we agreed to go hunting together?"
—
Junior frowned. “How do I know you aren’t an AAbilitoria member?” He retorted, raising his eyebrows cautiously. “You’ve got no reason to trust me. But if I was an AAbilitoria member, why would I have come here alone?”
Celeste
—
The girl groaned and accepted the phone, lifting it to her ear. “Oh. Did we? I don’t remember. Sorry, brother. Woke up late. I could come meet you, if ya want.”
"If we were Aabilitoria, how would we know about the rresistance? And you got a good point. Welcome to the resistance." Aka said, releasing his stance. "We are currently all that is left of the RResistance, because we were slaughtered and everyone else was either a traitor or turned to a stone. Thats Hailee, and I'm Aka."
Hailee
"Nice to meet you" hailee said, still unsure whether to trust him or not.
Cereb
"Only come if you want to. Because, it seems as if you don't. Anyways, I found an aability, I don't know the power, but it seems useless because she can't get out of her knot." Cereb said to Celeste, unaware that he had the wrong girl. He had an innocent, friend of the AAbilities.
Putting her towel on the door of her shower stall, she took off her swimming suit and took a quick shower and took the chlorine off of her with soap and shampoo that she had brought over. Twisting the knob of the shower to turn it off, she put on her clean shirt and pants, and left the stall. "Shelsea? Where are you?" She looked around, walking towards the bathroom and her locker. Noticing that she wasn't anywhere, she headed towards the pool. Carefully placing her foot in front of her she took a few steps near the water searching for Shelsea curly hair.
Eric
Heading down the stairs of his old dusty apartment, he grabbed an apple which he brough to his lips and took an juicy bite out of it. He then took a few steps forward, bringing him to the wall, but he didn't stop. Continuing forward, a sudden chill filled his body and he found himself caugh between dimensions, and then it was all over. Coming out of the room near the kitchen, he grabbed his coat and headed out, locking the door.
—
The boy let out a relieved sigh, relaxing his stance. “I’m Junior. Nice to meet you, I guess.” He smiked awkwardly, nodding to Aka and Hailee.
Celeste
—
“I might,” The redhead rolled onto her stomach, still flopped out on her bed. “Hmm. Sounds like fun.” She smiled. “Have fun. I’ll see what I can do over here.”
Wondering where her friend had gone, she figured that she had to be waiting for her at the entrance of the pool. She then walked out of pool room towards the entrance. Walking around the dirty corner, she would never know that Shelsea was actually on the other side of the corner, crying in pain as her mouth was covered with a rag and her hands were tied together with the cord of the timer, rubbing her skin off. Terissa walked out of the pool, and in the process leaving her friend with a deadly fate.
