Kale sucks in a breath and closes his eyes, internally counting from zero to ten before speaking up. "I can? I thought- I'm just... Gonna stay outside for a little while, Alright? Thank you, I'm sorry."

There was no way he could have expected this to happen- Not even his parents. They considered this a friendly environment, Right? And to be honest, it was! There was no reason for Kale to feel the way he does and yet, here we are. "And I think you might be right Shaifty? Maybe, I don't really- I'm gonna go. Just give me a minute."

He manages to let out a last muffled Sorry before he makes a beeline for the door, somehow managing to not trip over his own legs or get his cape stuck in the closing doors.

Because she was totslly late But she hadn’t been there that long anyway. Maybe they’d forgotten about her? Probably.

Unfortunately, being quiet was not exactly easy for her. With Kale leaving the room and her dashing for the doors, she narrowly managed to dive around him (and it was totally her fault, she really needed to stop running everywhere and actually pay attention to where she was going). “Oh, gosh. I’m so sorry!” She gasped, ears flicking apologetically. “I’m so sorry, I’m running late—“

There's one thing you need to know about Kale- If Universe can make his life just a little bit harder, it will. Why? He has no idea and something tells him that it's better not to know. Maybe he did something horrible in his past life and this is his karma? At this point, he wouldn't be surprised.

At the last moment, his instincts take over and he comes to a quick and rushed stop. It only goes down from there- Literary. He doesn't know what exactly happened but he feels his legs slide underneath him and then he is on the floor. "Its... Alright? Yeah, I'm fine. I'm sorry."

His first attempt to pick himself up ends with a crash, as his hind legs tangle up in the fabric of his cape and he falls down again, letting out something between a whimper and growl, followed by a deep sigh.

Lani? Lani was a flustered mess at this point. Because sure, she’s agile and totally capable of holding her own in an argument or conversation, but knocking someone over? No. That’s a different story. Especially when it’s compmetely her fault in the first place.

“No, I’m so sorry.. That was totally my fault. Oh man, are you okay? Are you hurt? Please don’t tell me you’re hurt.” She hesitated. Because if there’s one thing she’s learned during her time in the camp, it’s that there will always be Pokémon who prefer their own space. So forgive her for being a little nervous about touching others. “Do you need help? I’m so sorry.. Kale, right? If you want help. Only if.” She said hastily, extending one of her feelers a bit. Enough so that if Kale wanted too, it would be capable of helping him up.

Only if, of course. Personal space was important to some Pokémon. She couldn’t remember if Kale was one of those Pokémon.
