Several layers of honey can be put on the honey tree, but to help conserve honey, I only put one layer on (A bit of honey sticks to the tree). I was wondering if the amount of honey on the honey tree affects which Pokemon shows up at the tree. Like if I put the max amount of honey on the tree, will it increase my chances of finding Celebi and other rare Pokemon?

Pokemon are more likely to appear with more honey I believe? And the maximum amount of honey layers on the tree at a time would be three ^^

It will also increase how long a pokémon hangs around, making it less likely for the pokémon to run away.
It doesn't affect who will show up, though. How likely a pokémon is to appear, is the same.
