Retrieving Rumblers not responding
Forum-Index → Bug Reports → Resolved → Retrieving Rumblers not responding[ this isn't a picture taken mid-animation. It's completely frozen like that ]
It happens randomly because sometimes, I can re-send them and other times that happens instead. It's very annoying because I have to refresh the page and do the whole set up all over again. I'm on a phone and don't really have any other device to test this on, but it happened twice when I was borrowing a laptop.
But seeing that the animation stops in the middle of it is kind of strange. If it was a browser issue you'd have this pretty much every time, not just sometimes.
Third option would be that there is actually a bug in the code, but then I would expect more people reporting this problem (because it looks annoying indeed).
It could also be a combination of the above. So it would be useful to know which browser you use on your phone and which browser you used on the laptop you borrowed.
On phone, I use the average up to date android browser when I'm just doing normal game stuff. When I'm on the laptop I used Opera and Chrome. I switch between them for reasons I'm not even sure why.
Trust me, I didn't report it either because I honestly though it's my device or connection but after seeing it happens on multiple circumstances I couldn't ignore it anymore.
The reason I think it's a connection issue is that when you click "Return" (or whatever the button is you have to click), a request is sent and it will stay in this "Retrieving animation" until it got an answer from PH. It could also be that there's some lag on PH's side when you try to click it.
If this is the problem a solution would be to set a 10 seconds (or smth) timeout & then just let you try again, if it's due to connection the second time might be faster and work again. Even if this isn't the issue, it wouldn't hurt implementing this.
My internet connection is also very stable even if it's this recurring fast internet. It has no delays and the only times my internet had been 'poor' was when the games I'm playing had bad servers, which may be the case in this situation?
