Rose was awakened by Leafeon who jumped onto the bed. "Leaf" chirped Leafeon. A smile grew on Rose's face. "You are silly Leafeon" she said as she sat up. "Come on, lets feed you and Lapras" she spoke as she stood up and headed to the kitchen. She turned on the news as as she grabbed the bowls and fed Leafeon. "Oh no" she said when she heard about Team Rocket showing up in the Orre Region. "I wonder if Professor Willow will want help or if he has someone ready to help" she sighed as she placed Lapras' bowl by the pond in the backyard. Rose walked back inside and started brushing her hair. "Once you two are done eating we are going to talk to Professor Willow" she told them as she made herself coffee.

Gideon was standing at the front of a ferrie with Glaceon and Lucario by his side. He reached into his satchel and pulled out and envelope with a letter inside.
"Alright you two, let's see what this trip is all about."
Gideon said to his Pokemon as he opened the later. How Pokemon nodded simultaneously. As he skimmed through the letter, he read it to his Pokemon
"This is no good. Team Rocket is back at it again. Professor Willow needs our help."
Lucario raised an eyebrow and Glaceon chimed in
"Gla ceon?"
"Yes he might be asking for help since we did just become champion of Sinnoh I'm sure there are others in Orre who would be willing."
Gideon replied
"Luca lucario."
"Hey mister, just cause we sit on top doesn't mean we're the best. I guess we'll just have to wait and see."
Gideon spoke to his lucario as he peered off into the distance.

Rose finished her coffee as Lapras looked in her kitchen window. "Lap-Lapras?" Rose looked over with a smile. "Dont worry Lapras, I will place you in your ball while we head over there" she said. Leafeon picked up the bowl in her mouth and leaped onto the counter, placing the bowl in the sink. "Leaf!" She walked over to Rose who was grabbing her backpack. "Thank you Leafeon" she said as she put Lapras into her ball. "Ready?" Leafeon nodded as she headed towards the door. "Leaf-Leafeon" she replied. "Alright then, lets go" she said opening the door and heading out to her moter scooter. She smiled as Leafeon hopped on the back and placed her paws on Rose's shoulders as they headed off.

Gideon's boat arrived at the dock. He and his Pokemon got off and Gideon pulled a map from his bag
"Hmm, according to the map this is Gateon City. We need to head north too the Pokemon lab HQ."
Gideon spoke to his Pokemon.
"Gla Glaceon."
"You're right Glaceon. It's not as cold here as it is in Sinnoh. Probably should've packed some warmer clothes."
Gideon sighed, Lucario chuckled
"Listen here giggle sticks you're covered in fur so knock off the attitude or you're not getting breakfast."
Gideon pointed a finger at lucario. Lucario growled
"Lu Lucario!"
"I'm not taking anything back you rambunctious canine!"
Gideon exclaimed. Glaceon let out a giggle as Gideon's and lucario's stomach rumbled
"Glaceon Gla."
"When you're right you're right Glaceon. Let's go get breakfast."
Gideon chuckled as they walked towards a cafe near by.

Rose smiled as they neared the Pokemon Lab HQ. "There it is Leafeon. Remember when we met here" she asked. Leafeon nodded and seemed to wag her tail. "Leaf!" Rose laughed. "You were just an Eevee then. You were so little. Now your a big tough Leafeon" she said with a laugh. She slowed to a stop, allowing Leafeon to hop off before she parked the moter scooter. Rose Pat Leafeon on the head before they walked into the HQ. "Hello? Professor Willow?"

Gideon and his Pokemon chowed down on some breakfast
"Man, these people here in Orre really know how to make some breakfast."
Gideon smiled as he finished his plate. Glaceon and Lucario nodded in agreement. Gideon looked at his watch
"We should get going you two. Don't wanna be too late now do we?"
Gideon said as he stood up and paid for the tab. The group walked outside and looked around
"Now how do we get to the lab?"
Gideon questioned to himself.
"Hey kid. You're not from these parts are you."
A stranger called out to Gideon
"I could tell by your clothes and your Pokemon. I bet your looking for the Pokemon lab right? Well here's in Orre we ride these motor scooters to and from places. Here you go"
The man gave Gideon a scooter
"Don't worry about the scooter. I'm sure I'll see you around so you can make it up to me than. Take care now."
The strange man was off in a heartbeat. Gideon looked at the scooter then his Pokemon
"Gla Glaceon."
"That was strange-"
"Lu Lucario."
"Yeah, and convenient."
Gideon put his Pokemon in their respective ball and took off.

"Ah good morning Rose! How are you this morning?"
Prof Willow asked Rose.

Rose looked at Professor Willow. "Hello Professor Willow. I am doing well thank you. I heard on the news that Team Rocket is here and I came to see if there was anything I could do to help, or if you had someone already in mind to help" she said as Leafeon ran over and placed a paw on Willow's foot. "Leaf" she asked with a tilted head. "Leafeon, I dont think Professor Willow has any treats for you" she said.

Prof Willow pet Lefeaon and handed her some treates from his pocket
"I remember when you were a wee Eevee."
Willow returned his gaze to Rose
"Actually I do have someone on the way to help with my problem. But I'm sure he wouldn't mind some company or help. He should be here already but I assume he may have gotten confused in the port so we'll give him a few minutes."

Gideon approached the lab. He brought his Pokemon out and looked at the lab
"It's a little smaller than I would've thought. Do you two think so?"
Glaceon and Lucario nodded.

Leafeon smiled. "Leaf!" She took the treat gently and laid down near the door in the sunlight to eat.

Rose looked at Professor Willow. "Really? Who is it" she asked as she glanced at Leafeon. "You are so spoiled" she said with a smile before she looked back at Professor Willow.

Willow smiled and looked out the window to see Gideon and his Pokemon
"In fact he's right there."

Gideon and his Pokemon walked through the door
"Glaceon!"
She cheered
"Yes good morning Prof. Sorry we're late."

"Nonsense my boy come in and relax."
Prof Willow motioned.

Rose looked over at Gideon. "Gideon Prescott? Sinnohs most recent Champion? Professor Willow, With his help Team Rocket will be taken our quickly" she said with a smiled. "Hi, Im Rose" she said holding her hand out to Gideon to shake.

Leafeon smiled when she saw Glaceon and wagged her tail. "Leaf" she chirped before she pounced on Glaceon with a smile.

Gideon reached out to shake Rose's hand
"Well I guess since you know me I guess I don't need to introduce myself. And I wouldn't underestimate team rocket. They are tenacious."
Glaceon jumped to her feet and hid behind Gideon then gave a little growl as If she didn't want to play.
"Sorry about that."
Gideon picked up Glaceon
"She's new to the team and is very shy."

Prof Willow grabbed himself a cup of tea
"Well it's good to know you two are getting along fine. Gideon I assume you found my letter informing."

Rose looked at Leafeon. "Leafeon doesn't always know when other Pokemon don't want to play. She gets hyper and happy to see other Eevee evolution Pokemon." She pointed to her feet and Leafeon walked over and sat down, tilting her head at Glaceon. "Leaf?"

"Yes the letter gave me sufficient information."
Gideon replied as he pet and rocked Glaceon who looked like she was gonna cry, Lucario rolled his eyes
"But how do you know for certain it's team rocket? They dispanded years ago in Johto."

"At first I thought it wasn't rocket either, but then I saw these."
Prof Willow threw down some photos on a table
"These secrutiy cam photos show people in rocket uniforms constructing pillars. I don't know what they do but they get the pokemon all riled up."

Rose looked at the photos and picked one of them up. "I know Team Rocket wanted to rule the world, but what do they gain by getting Pokemon riled up?" She looked at Prof Willow and Gideon worth a confused look.

Leafeon got on her hind legs and placed her front paws in the table trying to look at the pictures herself. She tilted her head curiously.

"I'm not sure Rose. But I need your guy's help to solve this. I was supposed to be traveling the world next week to do field research but now this came up. And since Orre doesn't have an official Pokemon league, the responsibility falls on me to fix this."
Prof Willow replied.

Gideon studied the photos and noticed all the Pokemon in the photos had slight haze's around them. He looked at the towers team rocket were constructing
"I think I might have an idea on what it could be."

Rose looked at Gideon. "You mean like the Shadow Pokemon team Snagem used before" she asked before Leafeon took a picture and brought it to Lucario to see.

Gideon said pointing to the Pokemon in the photo Lucario was holding
"Doesn't this remind of you the pillars on iron island?"
Gideon asked. Lucario nodded his head, set the photo down and walked outside. Everyone watched
"He'll be alright. Back in Sinnoh, a group called team galactic took over a small island inhabitited by steel type Pokemon. Team galactic constructed pillars similar to these causing only steel type Pokemon to go savage. Since Lucario is a steel type, the pillars affected him and caused him to attack Glaceon."
Gideon brushed back some fur on Glaceon's neck revealing three claw scars
"He's been beating himself up ever since."
