Both online and traditional shopping have their pros and cons, but
which method wins out overall? What's your fav online stores? What
stuff do you buy online mostly?
I'm a big fan of online purchases but I prefer to order at
well-known and reliable services like ASOS, Amazon, eBat etc. But
it's better to check carefully the address and postal code to avoid
the delivery problems. Once I missed one number in my postal code
and my parcel was lost. Now I use postal code finder online to avid
mistakes.
I prefer online shopping, it’s usually for clothes and things like
video games and merch. although it can be difficult to know what
you’re getting sometimes, that’s especially true when it comes to
clothing lol I don’t mind going out of my way to shop at a store,
but I like doing that when I’m with someone. It makes the
experience more fun
It kind of depends on what I'm looking to buy, but mostly prefer
online shopping. Example would be parts for my Jeep, I prefer going
in a brick and mortar for sort of thing, unless I can find a MUCH
better deal online. Most everything else is amazon or other sites,
from computer parts to small little odd trinkets.
(And sometimes food, if I'm being lazy I'll just order a couple
groceries on Amazon like rice).
I literally only do online shopping because with work and[,
previously,] school I usually don't have time to go out.
I buy a lot of shoes and cute clothes like graphic tees and pocket
tees with cute things in the pocket.
I used to buy a lot from KYC Vintage but I got tired of them [and
they're really unprofessional imo]
I'm a big online shopper too xD Taobao (Chinese Ebay) is pretty
much where I get everything cause I'm lazy and who has time to go
out to the mall for mascara every three months when they're in high
school?
It's also kinda a necessity for me as well since I mostly like
Canadian/American brands like Forever21, LA Girl, Anastasia etc
that don't really sell in Chinese shops xD
Prefer shopping online, but has its obvious downsides - harder to
return(depending on the shop), sizing, etc. - For me, it's also
about 487% easier to splurge online than in person.
I like online shopping for items that aren't easy to find in
stores. Like merch for media I enjoy or for bands that aren't very
popular. However for anything else I do like the experience of
going to a physical shop.
When it comes to shopping for things like clothes and shoes, I like
to physically go to stores and shop. But I'm a big Amazon user for
pretty much anything else. It's so convenient
I feel like shopping online has made it possible to have a more
curated and well-thought-our wardrobe. I used to love to go
shopping over the weekend and after work (TBF I lived in a major
city with fantastic shopping). But most of the time I would just
browse and end up buying random nice things (mostly impulsive
purchases) that didn’t have a place in my wardrobe. I shop mostly
online now. I make wish lists based on inspirations from Pinterest
and people watching. I sleep on my wish list items for days, weeks,
even months before buying them. I research the options and sizing,
and then make carefully considered purchases. Is returning items a
pain in the ass? Yes. But my wardrobe and personal style has
benefitted tremendously from this process.
Depends. If it's something like school books or something like
equipment and you've done cross price comparisons with other
retailers? Sure, go on Amazon or Ebay or other online retailers.
But if it's something as finicky as clothes or shoes? I'd prefer a
brick and mortar store to see if it's possible to check out the
sizes and fit, and to see if there are any discounts or sales going
on.
I prefer to be able to see what I'm purchasing in person, that way
I know it's not a scam. I'm a huge fan of alternative fashion and
just being surrounded by all of those cool clothes is enough to
make me giddy! Also I can't tell you how many times I've been
scammed out of Japanese street fashion items.
