Used in Egg radar too search for eggs bought from the item shop

It can only search for the eggs if you have their egg dex and egg radar type unlike gem collector where you just need the pokedex entry to get the egg.

Example:
Hatched a caterpie and you have the egg radar and easy egg radar chip, you can now search for its eggs if there are any in the field. (they only get put in the field, if a daycare egg wasn't adopted in time)

After picking a pokemon you wait for a certain amount of time after doing so you try to guess where the egg is, the egg spot doesn't change so you have a higher chance everytime you play again as you know the previous egg spots identity.

Honestly, always check the wiki first. It's more organized and formal.

People often think the PH sprites are bland. Do they shade? Well, yes they do. You'll be surprised how much care is taken for these sprites.

Read over the Wiki about tall grass and im confused as far as the point of why i would want to use it? is there a better shiny rate? or is it simply to get enough of one pokemon for all of its evolutions.

You can get a free first evolution just by waiting a few minutes RoyalSky ;p. I usually use it for those rare-er pokemon, gotta haxorus but I want another axew without wasting dragon gems so I go to tall grass and get an egg.

Edit:Also, pretty sure its useful for shiny hunting chaining too.

I bought the 25,000 one and the notifier one, why does it not show me where eggs should not be?

The egg radar is useful for shiny hunting because you can get the same pokemon eggs as long as they are in the wild and you don't have to worry about paying for the daycare or having a good pair. It's also useful if you only have one of a pokemon and want more of it, like if I have one popplio and want another one to try and find a breeding pair.
Also I know the 25k Egg Radar Tracker keeps track of which bushes you've already clicked on and tells you that those ones don't have the egg, but it doesn't tell you which tiles don't have the egg until you actually click on them first.
